The dishes: tasteless, like the tostones or the classic ceviche, or hyper-spiced like the white rice that should be called “raw garlic rice” and the grilled steak should be called steak swimming in fat (even if you have asked them for a suggestion so that they don't give you fried or greasy foods).
Very bad service, some with very bad manners and others who don't have the slightest idea and don't care about you. No one there has the slightest idea what service is.
Bad food, poor quality and terrible service? Wasted money and add pain medicine

Not a real peruvian flavor, very overrated. First time at this location and very disappointed. Lomo saltado was just onions and tomatoes with 3 pieces of meet. Prices are not bad only if you are getting the real deal. Take this review from a Peruvian, happy to see the llama.

Aromas del Peru is one of my favorite restaurants. This time I ordered a ceviche with passion fruit as a starter and 10/10. However, for the main course they recommended a branzino with shrimp and risotto (a seasonal dish) and I really didn't like it. In addition to being a very expensive dish ($48), the risotto looked like Mac and cheese, too much cheese, I was very disappointed. For dessert I ordered a 4 leches which was divine.

I’ve been coming to Aromas for many years, and it has always been an amazing experience—until today. I ordered the seafood saltado, only to find out that the restaurant has switched to using frozen fries instead of fresh ones. When we asked about it, the waitress explained that this was a cost-cutting measure.
This was disappointing, as saltado is one of the most well-known and signature dishes in Peruvian cuisine, and using frozen fries significantly affects its authenticity and quality. On top of that, the wait time was noticeably longer than usual.
This was our first negative experience at Aromas, and I truly hope it’s not a sign of declining standards. I would love to see the restaurant maintain the quality that has made it a longtime favorite.

Becoming a favorite place, good food, service and off the beaten congested path which sadly is now Coral Gables. Good authentic Peruvian cuisine, well worth it and no parking issues. Enjoy!

My fillet mignon was tender and delicious served with an excellent sauce and fettuccine. I only wish I had realized there were no veggies - I should have ordered some as a side. Nevertheless the meal was excellent and very delicious.
