A mixed experience.

My first impression was a bad one. There was a smell in the dining area of cooking. But not a welcoming smell like that of freshly baked bread. It was a slightly stale smell. So I sat at the counter near the entrance.

On the topic of bread, they gave me a glass of water and a basket of tranches of baguette soon as I sat down. No dip to go with it, but no need. The bread was delicious.

I had their cazuelita patatas aliñas to start. There was a lot of oozing cheese on top. I didn’t think I’d like it but I did. Very tasty.

I also had the seafood paella which was a big disappointment. While the seafood in the paella - especially the shrimps - were quite good, the rice was well cooked on the edges but still soggy in the middle. The rice was bland and lacked the flavor of seafood altogether.

Overall a disappointing experience. But I need to go back and ask where they source their bread.

Had the pleasure of dining at the Bellmont recently. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and swiftly served. A real treat. I particularly enjoyed the Chorizo al la Sidra along with the Arroz Negro. Our waiter, "Dunez" was pleasant, affable, and knowledgeable. All in all dining at the Bellmont was an excellent experience!

Dietary restrictions: lots of options for Gluten free diners!

We went for Miami Spice lunch and we loved the selection of dishes on the menu. We had the lentil soup and croquetas’ assortment to start and they were both really good, our favorites were the croquetas. We chose the seafood paella and the fish lenguado, the paella won this round. A few things to consider: 1) we were very happy they served paella for one person and the flavor and cooking were perfect, 2) the lenguado was a fish fillet with potatoes so my partner and I ended up sharing the paella. So if you opt for the fish, we recommend a side dish or sharing a paella. For dessert we had turrón ice cream and the flan, both delicious, but try the ice cream if you must choose.
The wine selection is also great and the staff is very friendly. The ambiance is inviting of conversation, tapas, and good wine, which they have. We recommend this place for family dinners or a date. We will definitely return.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The food was great. The portions’ size were more than enough. I had the Paella Campesina and it was perfectly cooked and moist. The croquetas were crunchy and delicious too.

I had the intention of going to this restaurant but looking at their menu I read something that I hope I never read, let alone try a self-respecting Valencian...... calling Valencian Paella to rice with seafood is a matter of judgment. . Here I leave you something to reflect on.

Went for Miami Spice lunch. Great appetizers, and the salmon with mushrooms risotto was very good, but the paella was a letdown as the pan bottom imparted a metallic flavor to the otherwise tasteless and not very pretty paella de mariscos. Perhaps the all-meat paella would have been a tastier choice. The restaurant was short-staffed and it took an inordinate amout of time to get our order taken, and even longer to get our drinks, followed by about 45 minutes for the appetizers and another 45 minutes for the entrees to arrive. Way too long! Thankfully, the included desserts were excellent.

I went for an event. Food was excellent. Seafood Paella wasn't greasy. Fried calimari seemed excellently freshly made, not boxed. Ice cream, and their version of cheesecake seemed also fresh as opposed to prepared elsewhere. The sweet french toast was amazing. Staff was great. If you care about the food, check it out.

Hard to talk while the Flamenco show was going on it was extremely loud...it lasted and hour. They don't serve Sangria during the show which I found weird. Food was excellent!

Seem to be understaffed. Took very long to get serviced. We were seated but it took a long time for water, to get orders taken and for food to be served. . Only 2 guys were waitressing the entire restaurant. Flamenco show only spoke in Spanish and didn't consider English speakers. They should have spoken in both languages since this is Miami. Food was delicious. Hope they get more help.
