Waiter seemed like he was having a terrible night and was giving antisocial vibes, chef was untrained, and it took us an hour from when we sat down to receive any type of food. When we actually did receive the food, it was actually pretty good but was not worth the price at all.

Really enjoy eating food here. The Service was great and our chef was very entertaining.

the waitress forgot to put one order in so when the non english speaking chef came to the table he didnt know what to do. also try to expand my party and the manager on the phone made it seem like the extra ppl would not be able to sit with us cause they were so busy and yet there were 5 open tables when we arrived and when we left there were 3. not such great business model.

When we got there we realized that there was just 2 chefs for 10 stations and plenty of people waiting to get food. The waiter was under total pressure once 50 people were starving and frustrated with the overall experiencie. Even the waiter tried, he is not a Superman and was able to fill all the blanks the restaurant left. And also expensive as expected. I don't plan to be back in this place.

Terrible and way too expensive! $200 for 2! Salad was warm, rice was undercooked hard, piece of chicken was tiny, steak was good. A disappointment, won't return. Ps the service was excellent but could not make up for poor food.

We had a wonderful time at Benihana in Coral Gables, FL. The food was delicious, the service was exemplary and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We went as a family and everyone, even the 2year old, had a great time. The manager, Judi Chambers, even took two photos of our whole family, so that we could bring home the wonderful memories to Miami and New Jersey, where we, the grandparents, were visiting from. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

It's always a treat to visit Benihana on Miracle Mile! The lunch specials are awesome and plentiful. Giselle is fabulous, and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Highly recommend!
I never write reviews — ever. The food itself was good, but waiting almost an hour and a half to actually eat is unacceptable, especially for the prices customers are paying. We came to celebrate a birthday, and the long wait completely ruined the experience.
Our server was great and did the best she could — drinks came out fine — but the kitchen was clearly understaffed. There were only two or three hibachi chefs for the entire restaurant, which made the wait incredibly long. It wasn’t necessarily the staff’s fault, but management should do a better job staffing and scheduling to avoid this kind of experience.
We left disappointed, which is a shame because the food had potential to make it a great night.
So overall, if you feel like paying to sit at your table for more than an hour (when you are hungry) this place is perfect for you! We went on a Tuesday at 8pm so maybe avoid if you want to enjoy a nice dinner.

We had a reservation at 7/00 pm for my daughters 6 birthday only got seated at 7:45 and started dinner at 8:30 so really annoying

Great experience with Christian and Elvin. Food was delicious. Bathrooms are outdated and in immediate need of updating. Overall, we enjoyed our interaction with our chef and waiter. They took great care of us and we would patronize Benihana again in the future.
