While most recent generation Cubans may not know what the original Cuban Cuisine was like, you will find it here in this Cuban Restaurant located on Coral Way. The restaurant has come of age but their food still brings Cuban traditional cuisine with great taste. I have been visiting this restaurant for years. Not much has changed decoration wise. We have been trying for days to get a batida de mango (mango milkshake)...so we settled for mamey. Good shake....more milk based. Excellent tequeños (cheese sticks) with tomato based dipping sauce and sliced and toated bread slathered with butter and garlic.
Don't be fooled. While the place looks old and would probably need a serious facelift the food is excellent and delicious. Portions are very generous, including the freshly pressed orange juice that I recommend you have accompany your eatery.
