We did a quick stop before the Theather. Looking for some appetizers and drinks. We asked for a bottle of wine. We were informed that the wine list is not what they had at that time and they will show me what they have. The server came back with a bottle of Albariño saying that this is the only choice they have for that kind of wine. She pour wine in both glasses at the same time. I asked her. How do you know I will like the wine? Based on the prices offered by this place and the ambience, you expect a high end service. The food took more than 30 minutes to be served. We kindly asked for the status due to the Theather time was approaching. A very kind lady brought us the main course we previously decide to try and share (Fileto Di Manzo). This plate was exquisite. A plus for the chef. At this point we asked what happened with the Carpaccio Di Manzo and the Tuna we ordered as appetizers? Surprised she asked us if we ordered those? From the beginning, off course. We requested to conceal them if not ready. The server came back a few minutes later and informed us that the appetizers can be served because they are really busy and the kitchen is full. She brought a bruschetta appetizer for free from the restaurant. The bruschetta was good as well. Finally, we had to put some pressure again to get the bill. The restaurant was full a people and it looks like they don’t have enough personnel to accomplish a good service. I’m a tipping person but in this case the small tip I left ($15) I believe was beyond the service and food received.

If you want a very layback atmosphere with good service this is the place, Manuel the bartender was very hospitable and attentive with good suggestions. Don Jesus who refuses to admit he is the owner 😂 takes care of his business and engages into good conversations.

First and last time here. It’s a cute little place, and the servers are nice. The food is okay but it’s definitely not authentic Italian food. Not worth the price being paid.

We visited Caffe Italia last weekend as a family group of eight and were pleasantly surprised. The appetizers (fried calamari, burrata salad, and prosciutto with melon) were excellent. For the main course, the pasta with pink sauce and Filetto di Manzo were both flavorful and well-balanced, with the brown sauce standing out in particular.

However, the Pesce Arcobaleno felt a bit overwhelming; while the dish was good, the mix of flavors made it hard to distinguish any one in particular, and the asparagus sauce was barely noticeable. Also, the pasta carbonara included onions and didn’t quite match the traditional flavor we were expecting.

Overall, a solid experience, we would have given five stars if not for those minor issues.

I had dinner at Café Italia today with my husband. I loved everything about it. The atmosphere was great, I loved the staff and the attentive waiters, and not to mention the dish on the menu recommended by the chef, "Risotto Porcini Gamberi." What a delight! Its authentic flavor. My husband had "Veal Chop," which tasted excellent. This was our first time at Café Italia, and we were delighted with its flavor. 100% recommended.

The food was excellent. I enjoyed the veal parmesan and ravioli. The tiramisu was better than average. The atmosphere is lively. The lights are dimmed, although an older restaurant it did not feel dated, clean. There were plenty of wine options.

Caffe Italia Restaurant serves outstanding food, with gnocchi that are perfectly cooked—light, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, complemented by a rich and flavorful pink sauce. I’ve been dining here for over 20 years, and it has remained consistently excellent. This hidden gem in Miami continues to deliver top-quality dishes every time.
