We came here last minute on a Friday night. Not busy at all, and the plantain chips and Guac were absolutely fantastic and better than any “starter” Guac and chips I’ve ever had. Then my entree was a pork and a stack taco. The pork was fine BUT THE STEAK TACO. ? Honestly, quite possibly the best taco I’ve ever had. The aioli was exquisite, the steak was tender. I don’t write many reviews, but when food knocks my socks off, I do. And this did.

We were disappointed. We sat outside, beautiful night. After we order appetizers think it was called cuban sampler, that was good, could of been hotter ( the temperature was like had been been sitting wait for the other app's to join). They were out of shrimp, no lettuce and some other things. So, we couldn't order what we originally wanted. The food was cold which didn't make any sense because the place only had 2 other customers and they were eating. The Cuban tamals tasted like it might of tasted good but was warm/cold. The Cuban nachos tasted like they've been waiting all night for someone and the vaca frita was chewy. The tostones rellenas, I don't know because my friend made no comment either way. The Churrasco not the greatest, the Chimichurri sauce gross. The flan was delicious but that was it, the flan. My kids didn't even want to eat and they eat. Honestly, my the whole group gave me a headache talking about my bad pick. Maybe they were having an off night. The reviews are what made me go there. My hubby is a chef, so I got the extra knowledge of what was wrong and that I should of listened and ate at the sushi spot next door. ?
