We have been coming to Cava for years now and almost did not visit this past Friday. They now force you to reserve online and use a credit card. If you do not show up they automatically charge $50 pp. For the 1st time no valet and the parking lot was completely empty. Found it strange. We were disappointed to find that the amazing buffet is long gone. Now each person must consume $55 worth of food and drink. We went Friday so the wine and sangria is free for 1 hr. The food was good considering the price. For 2 people we got 3 appetizers and 3 main dishes. For Miami that's amazing considering you are getting one of the best Spanish shows close to home. The performers have been here for years and are amazing as always! We had a great time and left satisfied but sad. There were only 20 people max when every past visit it was completely full. Hope they stay open for a long time to come. Not many places like this left

We held my mother’s 80 th birthday party here. We were a group of 22 people, kids, young and old. The owner was very easy to work with and responsive during the pre-planning. We had a wonderful night. The owner, hosts, and servers were very hospitable, accommodating and helpful. The cocktails and sangria were amazing. The appetizer and dinner was timely and well made. The flamenco show was authentic, they even used castañuelas in the dance. Also, the ambiance is that of a true tablado like a brick cave. I highly recommend Cava.

Worse food we have been served in like ever…..we were all soooo disappointed I don’t hv words to express how bad I felt since I convinced my family members to try that place and no one could touch the food. I called the server who by the way was very apologetic and I believe him and told him we were going to pay for the food but to take look at the plates so he can note they were almost untouched. We are not planning to go ever again that’s for sure. Hope they get better cause that little hole in the wall has potencial.

As soon as you walk in the restaurant smelled moldy, the show and performance was good. We enjoyed that. We made a reservation and were seated fast. We paid seven dollars plus a tip for Valley parking. We placed our order which included calamari, pulpo a la gallega, lamb, two kids meals ($50 for both kids meals!) sangria and another drink. The waitress took forever to take our order, we could see that our drinks were ready at the bar, but they also took like 20 minutes to bring our drinks and the “complementary bread and butter”. Our food took forever to come out my husband received what he did not order, but since we waited forever to receive our food, he just decided to eat it. The pulpo was okay, didn’t have much flavor to it. His food was also okay just flavorless. The waitress never stopped by and asked if we needed anything else if we needed more drinks.

Sad to say was highly disappointed. I went to take my aunt for her 77th birthday. The server was very nice however he seemed a little lost. We were a group of 5. They charge per person and it includes an appetizer each and entree. When we received the original bill it said $400. That was fine. Then a tablet came back and it said $600. My husband paid thinking this was with tip included. After that he tells me in the car the final amount was $800! We went back in the restaurant and they had charged us the table next to us. (Fine mistakes happen) they cancel it and give us a new bill. Thankfully my husband noticed then they charged us again for 6 people. And they had to cancel again. Apparently they try to stiff you if they see you drinking and having a good time. The waiter forgot to give us our food. The paella was 5 mini shrimp and a whole lot of oysters and calamari. Such a shame. The place and show were amazing. Also with the mistakes they made with the bill they promised to send us a $300 gift card to “come back” its been 3 weeks and were still “waiting”. Side note the parking is a SCAM its a mandatory “valet” $8 when you could walk 5 steps from the door and your car is parked right there 😅. Please don’t come here its a shit show.

We were here for the weekday lunch buffet.
Our server Isa was great. She was very cheerful and attentive. I was grateful that she tuned off the AC for me without me having to ask her to do so.
The food was also amazing. What I liked the most was the fish croquettes and Pollo a la Catalana con Pesas Y Piñones. I’ll recommend everyone to visit this place. I liked the calm atmosphere with Spanish songs.
We’re looking forward to visiting this place again on another day as the buffet spread apparently changes each day.

This year they charged 60 plus taxes, tips and extras and I left very hungry and disappointed. The show was good but after that experience I didn’t even pay attention. Hopefully they rethink their business.
