Late-Night Flavor Fiesta at Coyo Taco We stopped by Coyo Taco in Coral Gables close to closing time and were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and efficient the staff remained. Even with the day winding down, the energy was upbeat and the food was fresh and flavorful.
We took advantage of their Taco Tuesday two-for-one special, which felt like a delicious steal. The real star of the night? The Al Pastor tacos—hands down the greatest. Perfectly seasoned pork, juicy pineapple, and that signature street-style flair made each bite unforgettable. They were so good, we almost ordered another round just to keep the magic going.
Whether you’re winding down your day or kicking off a night out, Coyo Taco delivers bold flavors and a laid-back vibe that hits the spot. We’ll definitely be back for more taco love.
Note to management, we also walked right by because staff looked apprehensively at us so we thought it was closed. Recommend some customer service training. A welcoming big smile would have changed everything.

Tac tortillas taste great but they brake very easy. Carne asado taco was lame, Meat was very dry and seem old. Was too much tomato on it, no fresh taste at all. The service was ok but very disappointed about the food

I calmly ordered and ate with my family and was getting the stink eye from one of the employees (the only blonde one). I uncomfortably had a stare-off for a few seconds with her. She even made disgusted face gestures when looking over at me?!? I thought it was just me then I noticed after I ordered, she was talking to the other employees and they all started staring at me too. They REALLY need to fix their act up, the food is too expensive to be dealing with this kind of service.

Love this place, have been coming here for 3 years now. A big suggestion that I had for Stephanie is hookah!! Hookah would make this place a game changer! I’ve been pitching this for a while, but I guarantee that this place would buzz as the only spot in this plaza with hookah! Love the service & everything else

I was at the Wynwood location and it was great. Now my wife and wanted to try the one in Coral Gables but it was very disappointed. We ordered 2 margaritas $24, plus only one order of fish tacos, then to our surprise, they charged 20% not only on the drinks but on the food. Then an 18% tip out of the total. This was a plain rip off. I talk to Maria the Manager who most likely started as a Mgr the previous week, and I asked her what is that charge of 20%? She gave us the most nonsense answer, that’s because the margarita was prepared at the bar which is at the back of the restaurant. I said nobody told me that so I didn’t have the choice of ordering something else. Well, she charged it anyway, and even though she said the 20% is only on the drinks, they charged me also on the food. I will never come back here. I own my company and I always taking responsibilities. This Manager, Maria, for sure needs to be doing something else except managing the restaurant. No wonder the restaurant was empty. Thank you Leo the server for being so nice.

Incredible burrito for a really great price. Would probably pay 25-30 for the burrito was absolutely unbelievable. Service great and was easy to do pickup. Highly recommend adding the chipotle aoli and getting a side of the chipotle salsa. 10/10 and am going back tomorrow
