Let's start with a good: hostess staff and wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. Now, unfortunately, it's time to get to the food, and it was just plain bad. Every dish was so over salted and/or over sauce that we were in fear of the next course. it's almost a zip the cooking staff has never tasted their own dishes And why attempt to add truffle to what is already a perfect dish; carbonara. Epic fail. We were with a large group, and there were so many opportunities to turn the meal around and they just never materialized. Even the drinks were done haphazardly and with very little care. Brutal.

Eating House Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. The service is top-notch, with servers working seamlessly as a team. The carbonara and filet dishes are delicious and cooked to perfection. Situated in an awesome location, the ambiance adds to the overall charm. It's a place I'll definitely revisit.

Food is not as great as in old location. Used to be amazing but now it feels like they're trying too hard to be unique, creating overly complex and eccentric dishes, and in the process, it's lost its charm/authenticity/appeal. Excellent service and ambiance though.

Had an outdoor reservation and after excuses from the hostess were finally seated 30 mins later- despite a text that our table was ready and to come to the stand. Service was a bit off - waiter returned to ask our wine order again, back waiter tried to deliver food we did not order) but the big thing was a side of broccoli served with half of it on the actual table. Fish and pasta were done perfectly. Has potential but perhaps not the best experience right now.

Disappointed with my meal and the prices were rediculous for what we had. $39.00 for Carbonara pasta that was scimping on the sauce. Too heavy on the truffle taste, you cannot taste the pancetta.

Used to go to the smaller first restaurant they had , bigger isn't always better ! Cauliflower app was undercooked! Halibut the portion was very small for the price! Ravioli was good ! But overall disappointing for both of us ! Drove a long way to go here and not worth the drive! , food was not hot just warm ! At those prices everything has to be right 100% was not ! I don't usually write like this but I paided for the right to !

As a big fan of the original pop-up Eating House, I could only hope that my first visit to the new Coral Gables restaurant was as good. And it was. Though the menu has changed, the chef's expertise is as finely honed as ever. To vegetable starters-cauliflower and carrots—were outstanding. The short rib is superb. And thank heavens the dirt cup is still on the dessert menu.

We brought our weekend guests here for Sunday brunch and they loved it! The fact that it was a beautiful day, and we sat outdoors, made the experience all the more enjoyable. The food was very good, as always, but the service was exceptional. We had three or four servers covering our table during the meal, so no one would be overwhelmed. It was awesome to see the teamwork.

We sat outside. Food was all perfect. Great cocktails too. Service is excellent but being outside puts you a little far from everything. For example, Drinks were slow to come out. And, while noise level is generally low, outside we had kids literally running around tables. They weren't even eating at the restaurant. It's a risk ring with the outdoor seating. Nevertheless, overall great experience and will go back.

We were a party of 4. We ordered 4 entres we received 2 entres first and has to wait a good 10 min to receive the other 2 even though we had told the waiters the we were all sharing. The appetizer were okay but not wow. We had reservations for 7:45pm and were not seated until 8:10pm. Chances of returning zero. The old location was a lot better

We had another wonderful meal at Eating House. We reserved a table for 8 but had 2 last minute guests. They were gracious and accommodating. All ten raved about the meal from beginning to end. Daicy was our server and she did a great job! She gave us wine suggestions and did not in any way try to upsell like most restaurants in Miami. Refreshing! Definitely recommend and will return for sure!

Food was ok, not the usual high level when it was smaller. Service was so-so likely because there was an event on the plaza and food came out very slowly. I will still go back as I think they were just having an off nice.

Service was great. Food came out fast. Group of 4. For appetizers we got the House rolls which were anwesome and the burrata which was okay kinda bland. Two of us shared the Miami tasting Menu #4, started off good with the Wagyu Tartar, then the “roasters and toasters” taterots came out which were just plain tater tots with a very boring sauce. The shrimp were good but nothing crazy, just garlic butter shrimp and bread. The “samurai” fried rice risotto was awful, more like a soup and had a burnt taste to it. The “pub sub” was just a basic chicken sandwhich with buffalo sauce, would've rather had a chicfila sandwich. And to finish it off the deserts were okay, the churros were whatever, a little overcooked, and the “whip and dip” ice cream was good just wish it had more chunks of banana. The other two people with us, got the fried buttermilk chicken thighs, Yellowtail snapper and shared the brussels sprouts. Didn't get to try the chicken thighs but she said they were good, lightly breaded and a lot of flavor. The fish was said to be local and fresh, but after one bite was obviously frozen and way overcooked. And i'm not a big brussels sprouts fan so i can't judge, but the rest of the table said they were decent. Probably would try again cause i've heard really good reviews, but that meal definitely wasn't worth the money.

We were used to wonderful food and ambiance at Eating House 1.0. The new version is very different and I suppose meets the needs of the new location. Very loud, food not inspiring. It was nice of the manager to apologize for our vey prolonged wait to get food and to comp us for cocktails. Sad to see the change but it was a very busy place so glad the new version works for some but not for us.

I really don't understand the good reviews. We were a party of 6 and ordered a lot of food. There was only one dish that the six of us thought was good. It was the tuna tartar. Everyone else ordered the short rib, burger, rock shrimp, and carbonara. It was awful! Even the presentation was terrible. The short rib looked like canned cat food thrown on the plate with burnt cauliflower with no seasoning and a table spoon of creamed cauliflower that was also cold and tasteless. The corn ceviche tasted like corn and lemon. The bone marrow was also tasteless. The restaurant was so loud that you had to shout to hear each other. The only compliment I can give is that the service was very friendly but we won't be returning.
