The bakery is excellent. The empanadas, buñuelos, and papa rellena are unique, fresh, and full of traditional flavor. Everything tastes homemade and prepared with care.

“I was flipping through the phone and I saw A reel of someone stating they had the best stake sandwich ( pan con biste ) . I had to try it, especially because it was near my home and I never noticed it. So my review is that it is a great sandwich. I enjoyed it and also had a Mamay shake. Also wonderful. My wife had some chicken wings and she said they were great as well. I highly recommend the establishment clean and friendly servers. I will definitely be coming back.“

“Wow!!! I thought I have had some of the best BBQ around the country. Kansas City, Texas. This place blew them out of the water. Everything was exceptional. Ribs Brisket Sides. “Amazing experience with Gaston. My wife and I loved the live music that drew us to dine in. Gaston was so friendly and recommended the beef empanadas and ropa vieja, which were delicious. The restaurant is cute and not too loud compared to others nearby with a party vibe. La Canita is the perfect spot for a romantic night out and the hostesses are not pushy like others down Ocean Bld. Highly recommend!!“

“Really good selection and really nice staff. For some reason, I thought these were made to order. But as I was leaving, they were coming in with a huge tray that was already made up and had the stamp on it. Still would go back though.“

“We called ahead as we wanted to make sure about parking and also we had a small dog. We received a very warm positive response. There was lots of parking and our dog could be easily accommodated We came for brunch and were greeted very warmly by Juan and staff. It’s just a very nice place, coming from downtown Miami. It is still in the artsy district with lots of activity, but not right in the chaotic part of downtown Miami. We were greeted upon arrival. Juan made sure we were comfortable and took drink orders. Then the food. ( our dog was royally taken care of). We found the empanada to be excellent, the breakfast sandwiches delicious from bread to cheese, eggs and meat. Very fresh!! Our party had wonderful juice combinations and we had an expresso- all were excellent. It was a wonderful experience and we’d come back in a minute. Thankyou Juan!! PS the bathrooms were absolutely wonderful and clean too!!❤️❤️“

“The best coffee near MIA! Miami Coffee, directly across from the Aloft Hotel, is a lifesaver. Our coffees were incredible, and we have to give major props to Fernanda for her amazing skills. She made our morning! Highly recommend. Oh and they also offer empanadas they look pretty good. We’ll try them on the next visit.“

“Such a beautiful place. The owner really built the most beautiful bakery and cafe that I have ever been to. The air is refreshing, the food is fresh, the floors are spotless, the smell is to die for. I will be coming here as often as I can afford! “It was pouring down rain and needed to use the bathroom, I walked in and despite one person being ordering at the counter ,the staff young lady acknowledged me right away, that’s a first good impression.Finished my thing. Ordered 2 Pasteles de Carne and the young lady Leti right away “said you’re going to love them,they are delicious and you’ll be back. She was a prophet and right a hundred % . The most delicious ground beef pastry that a I have tasted in Miami , And her hosting was A1. Like Arnold said “I’ll be back”“

“Came across this place when our original plans fell through. Cute little place with chill vibes. The guava / coconut pound cake was so yummy! Also got the bacon, egg and cheese croissant which was perfect! Loved that they use bacon crumbles in the eggs! So crispy and delicious! The beef empanadas were really good too! Definitely planning on going back to try out their lunch items.“

“This place has been open since the 1970, and I used to come to the original location with my parents all the time. When that original spot closed and yesterday we saw this location, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical. But wow it completely surprised me in the best way.

The food tasted exactly like my childhood memories. The same flavors, the same quality, and that comforting, authentic Cuban taste I remember so well. The crema de queso were flavorful and creamy, the Cuban sandwich was amazing, and the Cuban pizza was just as delicious as I remembered.

It’s not easy to recreate that kind of nostalgia, but they truly did. So grateful this place is still keeping those flavors alive. Highly recommend!“
