“We had been struggling to find good food since arriving in Miami Beach—most places either served old food or the taste just wasn’t right. Honestly, we came here with little hope because of our past experiences, but to our surprise, the food was absolutely amazing! The chicken curry with white rice gave a real homely feeling, and the chai with paratha was also excellent. As long as we’re in Miami, this will be our go-to place for food. The lady there was extremely humble, and although the ambiance is simple, the taste is outstanding. Highly recommended!“

“I came from Algeria in July with my husband and my daughters, and we ate at this restaurant several times without ever getting tired of it. The food is excellent, and the owner is very attentive, welcoming, and helpful. A big thank you for my daughter’s birthday cake — it was a very touching gesture that meant a lot to us. We keep a wonderful memory of this restaurant.

“Amazing food and the owner is just as amazing. Very friendly, he stopped what he was doing to get me and my girl a table and chairs even though I said it's OK because we were taking it to go and he was very busy. But he insisted and also gave us bottled water (which he didn't charge for) as well. This man's customer service skills should be on a video for all in the service industry to learn from. His ingredients were all fresh and freshly chopped, he gave us samples of the meat we were eating and it was delicious and well seasoned. The food presentation was amazing and very neat. I had the lamb gyro and it was hands down the best one I've ever had in my life. If you nearby and you like gyros you will be robbing yourself if you done try this. Oh and he gave me a discount because I came to him the first night and he was out of gryos.. i wasn't mad though because it was late like right before he closed. This man apologized and told me if I come back he would take care of me and he really did so I gave him double what he ask for because I'm not looking for a handout but to be that nice and cook food that good this man is the truth.. I don't usually write whole books for reviews but it was just that good“

“We wanted something to go and it was perfect! I'm vegan and my family is not, and they had options for all of us. Food is fresh and good. Service is fast. I really appreciate the amount of options they had. I tried the pita melt and I love it but It was too much for me, next time I'll be sharing the combo.“

“I get know to about this restaurant from an Indian friend of mine, I really appreciate the entire management and the staffs. Their behavior is professional and good.
Last time I had the chance to visit their buffet which was okay for me with that price they are offering. But, somehow for a student like mine I would ask humbly to lower down the prices a little bit so that everyone can enjoy a happy meal! Kudos!“

“The service here is fantastic, especially thanks to Roger! He speaks Spanish, which made everything much easier for me. His friendly and welcoming attitude made me feel very comfortable, even though my English isn’t great. I really appreciated his kindness and attention. If you ever visit UM and want to enjoy great food and amazing service, make sure to look for Roger!“
