The place is beautiful and the service is excellent. The quality of the food and taste are not at the same level. We ordered the arancini for appetizers and they were served cold, twice. The pasta portions were small and way overpriced. The desserts were the best part of the meal and they were overpriced as well. There are way better Italian restaurant options in the Gables to choose from!

This is a small restaurant with a modern decor. They have a bar but only serve wine and beer no cocktails. The food is good but not so extraordinary for how expensive it is plus they add a 20% tip. There are better restaurants with beautiful views and extraordinary food in Miami and you pay the same.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with the food. The starters were good but the 4 pasta dishes we ordered (all different) left enough to be desired not to say anything else. The price per person is approximately $90, also expensive for the not so good food we ate. When I left, I told the Manager about our experience and the truth is that he was quite receptive, and gave me a complementary dinner.I'll let you know if I have a better experience.

The food was on another level- congrats to the chef! Each dish was an explosion of flavors, the service impecable and venue elegant. The Vitelli tonnato was fantastic but the star hands down was the truffled gnocchis. Understated elegance with an attention to culinary detail. What a fabulous addition to the Miami restaurant scene. Will definitely become a regular!
I held a private event here with a party of 35 and I honestly could not have asked for a more perfect experience. The service was amazing, the staff was more than accommodating, and the food was spectacular. Everyone at the event has to mention how great the experience was. I could not have asked for a better place to hold such a special celebration and would highly recommend Il Duomo to anyone looking for an event space with catering, not to mention dining there on a normal night. Truly spectacular!

So this place is really cute and the service was nice as well. But the food is NOT that great. I can make better pasta at home just saying! At least it’s not worth the $30 per plate price point, because the portions are sooo small. I would recommend maybe for a romantic dinner but not for large groups. They also don’t have their liquor license yet so all they have is wine & beer.
