This little place was quaint but had very tasty food. Sushi was fresh and they definitely have their own style here. Hats off to the chef! The wait wasn’t too long either for the food. I didn’t know what to expect going in there but was pleasantly surprised. I love discovering incognito gems. Not a lot of seating but the place doesn’t seem to get full, there was only one other party of four whilst i was there. Parking in the back is plentiful so no need to worry about that. I’ll be back!

Had a wonderful time. For context the restaurant known as Anaba used to be iron sushi.
I frequent both before and after and from my perspective the resturant has shifted to a much higher degree above a simple sushi resturant.
The atmosphere was always charming but has really grown into a much more beautiful and unique esthetic.
Service was also exceptional and very accommodating.
Really worth a visit.

If you like me prefer to see the pics of the menu before ordering do not waste your time. Picture from the left the one advertised, the picture on the right how it arrived. No dynamite sauce no baked crab… just a cold tasteless crab on top. Saddest volcano roll ever. I ordered from Doordash and the food took an extra hour longer to arrive.

Not sure what is happening to the place as the quality has dropped DRASTICALLY!! I have ordered from here for over 10 years…today I ordered a mega roll, dragon roll steamed shumai and side of eel sauce and spy mayo.As soon as I saw the eel sauce I know it was bad.. as the plastic wrap they put to preven spills was inflated…. I smelled it and it smelled sour (also it as as liquid as water) When I saw this I called then and told then to check the sauces as there might ve more line this… I hung up…then I tried the rolls (both of them with eel sauce on top) and the spoiled sour taste was there…so I called them back and told them I couldnt eat the food because it all tasted terrible and I needed my money back for the rolls as they were impossible to eat.. they refused to refund and said they would only give me more food as refund ?? I DONT WANT MORE ROTTEN FOOD!!I had to drive back there to show rhem the sauce but the manager does not speak english they told me there were no refunds and the owner/manager was out of town… the on duty manager I had to go back and forth on google translate with the manager so he would tell me no refunds only more food☠️☠️Long story short… DONT COME GUYS! Quality has dropped to -2 and the staff wont do anything to help you Nor do they care

Japanese manager and Japanese worker are super rude to customers and they talk behind ur back in there language so u do not understand them nasty Japanese work they got.
This place used to be so good unfortunately it is not as good as before: prices went up food quality went down. Service is very slow (it has always been)
Slow. Ok. SLOWWWW. It looks good. Like an actual Japanese restaurant. However the food wasn’t even mediocre. The sashimi isn’t cold. Fish should be cold. The ramen was too thick and the pork served in the ramen was COLD like from the fridge. Portions are small. The ramen is a very small cup of soup. We were seated on the sidewalk and had to ask repeatedly for water. The glasses didn’t smell great. This isn’t a cheap restaurant. After $150 we were still hungry but so tired from waiting for the food we just went home. Avoid this restaurant. You WILL be disappointed.
Restaurantji Recommends
Zero stars if I could ….I basically order everything off the sushi menu for delivery …the price was very affordable HOWEVER …when I got my order the first thing I noticed was the smell coming off the Tom and jerry roll , kinda smell like rancid fish so we didn’t eat that roll and tried the rest of the order …very disappointing…my wife actually got sick later on in the night …will never order from this place again SORRY ?
Friendly service and delicious sushi ! ? Very fresh and great value. I went there for lunch and I will be returning. I recommend the sushi ?

If you're looking for good sushi this is the place to visit. Amazing food with amazing prices and an amazing staff. 12/10 would recommend.
Went for lunch, no one was at the cashier station, we waited for 5 minutes, we heard people having a pretty heated discussion at back, we said hello, a gentleman with a chef jacket and an apron approached the cashier station and on an angry manner told us, to wait outside because he was fixing an issue with an employee, that we had to wait 5 minutes. We left. No customer service.
We came here “by accident” and ended up having an amazing time! Delicious food, no issues with customizing our order. Both workers were super welcoming and helpful. Will visit again for sure!
