I went with my family for brunch today, super excited to try brunch menu! We ordered Sangria, croquetas and fried eggplant to start and all 5 of us were happy! Once our individual brunch orders started arriving so did the problems (bland, dry, a bowl of potatoes, tiny sandwich were some of the comments). My order did not arrive and was informed that french omelette was not available(this was over 45 minutes after ordering), when asked why was advised they had a shortage of eggs and advised to order something else. I ordered breakfast pizza, after another 45 minutes I was brought 3 pieces of bagette, each one either a slice of ham and a fried egg( clearly no shortage of eggs). When I inquired about salmorejo(tomato) sauce I was told the order didnt cone with sauce, once shown description on was advised they never did it as per menu but would accommodate me. At that point I cut my losses, cancelled my order and asked for bill. Bill came with 20%automatic gratuity added, although it clearly stated that was only for parties of 6 or more. We asked for a correct bill, paid and left. At no time were we offered an apology, not be cook, waitress or owner. We were made to feel like we were in the wrong, not even explanations offered. I would like to say restaurant was full but we were one of two tables in the 2 hours we were there. Let me wrap this up by saying I have never given a negative review, cancelled an order or left a restaurant without eating. Needless to say I will not be returning

We had an incredible experience at La Taberna Giralda. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The mariscos paella was absolutely delicious, flavorful and perfectly cooked. You could tell it was made with care.
The live flamenco performance was a standout. The singer’s voice was full of soul, and the dancer brought an incredible energy to the space. It felt like a little corner of Spain right in Coral Gables.
What really made the evening special was the hospitality. The owner and servers were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel like part of the family.
Great food, amazing entertainment, and genuinely kind people. La Taberna Giralda is a must visit. We’ll definitely be back.

I made a reservation for 3 PM, expecting a table to be ready as promised. When I arrived, the place was packed with soccer fans watching the final, and there were no tables available. Despite having a reservation, we were basically told “sorry bro, we got full” and left to fend for ourselves. Extremely disappointing experience. What’s the point of taking reservations if you don’t honor them? Won’t be coming back.

First time we went, it was ok, the gallego octopus was very good, but in general ok. Second time, a complete disaster. We went to watch a soccer game and it got super crowded, even tho we went there 2 hours ahead, the started to get people (not consuming) standing in front of us, so we couldn’t watch the game 🤡. Then we ordered food, paella was a big disappointment, no flavor, no sea food, and it was a big pan with soppy yellow rice. The tapas we ordered never came, and the sangria was done with rotten fruit. We couldn’t stand it anymore so we left. I’ll never go there again, and I recommend you to not go.

A Must-Visit! This place is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we felt a warm and inviting atmosphere, with an authentic charm that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden treasure….even though I believe it’s been open for a while now.
The food? Spectacular! But what truly set the night apart was the incredible live music and flamenco show. Truly electrifying, drawing the crowd to get on our feet, dancing along.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My experience here was nothing short of frustrating, disappointing, and downright unacceptable. From the moment we sat down, service was a disaster. We had to wait an astonishing three hours to receive our food, and in the meantime, we had to repeatedly ask for basic things like water, napkins, and even an update on when our meals would arrive. Our waiter was rude, inattentive, and practically missing in action whenever we needed something. To make matters worse, they charge a cover fee for the musicians, which was never disclosed when we made our reservation. It felt sneaky and dishonest. And speaking of the entertainment—when I asked the server to have the musicians sing Happy Birthday to the birthday girl, he gave them the wrong name! Talk about an awkward and embarrassing moment. As for the food? Completely flavorless, overpriced, and not even close to being worth the wait. At that point, after three hours, I would’ve settled for something decent, but even that was too much to ask. Overall, this was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

The service was terrible, we were seated at 6:40 and by 9:09 our food was not served. The server was not nice, she had a bad attitude and really didn’t care about us, the customers. We were a party of 8. I think they were not prepared for the amount of customers, they had that night, even though when we arrived the restaurant was almost empty. They told us the inside tables were reserved and we were seated in the patio area, which is understandable since we didn’t have a reservation. But I think waiting 2:30 h to be served is too much, even if a restaurant is busy, we were not asking for a favor we were paying customers, they didn’t put plates and silverware and they served us water an bread an hour later. We drank 3 bottles of wine waiting for the food. We ended canceling the dinner and leaving. I don’t think we will come back, there are plenty of Spanish restaurants in Coral Gables.

Food was not tasty, chicken tasted like plain boil chicken , my husband’s food was pork not tasty 3 potatoes pieces ,The ham platter had a lot of oil on it . Lady was not experienced at all .
