This is one of my favorite steakhouses I’ve ever eaten out. You can take their word for what they say about the menu items. The steak was incredible. Try the famous tres leches.

I dined in and the owner personally came over to recommend the best dish, which I appreciated. I asked if fries could be a side with the steak—he said yes. When I ordered fries from the server, my steak arrived with rice instead. I asked where the fries were, explained the owner had approved the swap, and the server said he’d check. Five minutes later, I was served a side of fries rice drenched in canola/vegetable oil. Actually, the whole plate tasted like Crisco.

I requested sour cream—charged $1.50 without warning. I was also charged $5.99 for the fries the owner had said I could have as my side. When I asked to speak to the manager, “Nay,” who could barely speak clear English, was dismissive, refused to adjust the bill, claimed fries are always separate, and wouldn’t even take my receipt or contact info—saying there was “nothing” she could do except “ask the owner.” Complicit and unprofessional “management”.

The communication failures, oily, bland food, and lack of basic service were bad enough. But the server then picked up my receipt while I was tipping to check the suggested tip percentages. Miami’s restaurant scene is already a joke, and now I see why this place has bad reviews.

I had an amazing experience at Los Ranchos in Coral Gables. The steak was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. You can really tell they know how to handle quality meat.

The atmosphere is charming, refined, and elegant. Honestly, when you walk in and see how beautiful and upscale the place looks, you’d expect the prices to be much higher. But to my surprise, the prices were excellent—great value for the quality you get.

This place truly delivers on both taste and experience. Highly recommended!

Los Ranchos set the standard for Latin steakhouses in Miami 40+ years ago and still is the one of the best. Beautiful new location in Coral Gables, outstanding staff provides top notch service, nice bar, but the food is the true star. Tempting starters are tasty and their famous Churrascos are done to perfection. Don’t miss their executive lunch specials, hard to beat .

Very very DISAPPOINTED in the food. I have been to other Los Ranchos and this one DOES NOT compare to the others. The steak was flavorless if it was not for the chimichurri. We made the server of aware numerous times and the manager did not have the professional or courtesy to even come to our table to address this. We went to the Novillo earlier in the week (which is the competition for Los Ranchos) and the service and food was FAR superior. Other than the location there was nothing favorable about the food experience and manager lack of acknowledgement was little to be desired. In addition, when we walked in the hostess was brushing her hair. Very unprofessional for a restaurant setting. Wont be returning!

Honestly, this restaurant has been a part of the Falls blueprint from as long as I can remember. I came here for an event and did enjoy the food I tried and decided to come back. My mom loves steak so she ordered the churrasco with the gallo pinto. It came with mariquitas and platanitos. It was a lot of food. The steak was delicious. I ordered the pasta with the chicken. The chicken was grilled to perfection. Again, I felt like the portion was huge and definitely had left overs. Both dishes also came with a side salad, so great value for the amount received.

We usually come here for lunch ever since our office moved in the area. The staff usually is nice as well as management. Today was totally different, first off when we where sat ALL THE CUPS OF WATER CUPS WHERE DIRTY and the server assistant “served the water” maybe check before pouring water in the cup? I understand maybe she didnt set the table back up but aren’t the glasses suppose to be polished and checked ?
Secondly I ordered a CESAR SALAD WITH SHRIMP. I received not Romain lettuce, with onions and tomatoes with the cheese and dressing on the side …. When has a Cesar salad came with onions and tomatoes ? I brought it up to my serves attention that this was not a CESAR SALAD and she stood argued that no that’s the lettuce they use etc. my complain wasn’t the lettuce it was the dam tomatoes and white onion on a dry bed of lettuce, she proceed to not let me speak and brought over the manager who also stared speaking before I even said what was wrong, The manager/GM as the server called her didn’t even introduce her self. Later after our server decided to come back to the table after we asked for our condiments and sodas from server assistants I ended up with rice and beans which where good!

“ Nery “from a former director of operation in the restaurant industry. Table touching is very important, to fix the issue before the guest leave the door. When you walk up to a table when a guest doesn’t like their food you listen first, understand and then you offer a solution. After then you come back to the table to make sure everything was fine. Not just take the food argue with the guest then walk away and never come back. Sad to see such a beautiful establishment being ran by such poor management who obviously with the experience today she care about only the paycheck and it the guest ep experience. You’re in the Hospitality industry for a reason.

Hope this feedback helps !!

Reserved the party room for a family party. Hamilton, the manager, ensured the function went without a hitch. The team at Los Ranchos were very accommodating to my needs.
