Great food, recommend trying Patates frittas, which is mushed potatoes in panco crust and fried, it comes with very rich truffle sause , probably a million calories but it's worth it. Lamb shanks and Cacio E Pepe were great too, also recommended. Ambiance is simple but cozy, with indoor and outdoor options.

Our server helped us choose our selections and everything he recommended was a 10/10. We savored every bite (and desert) and brought home enough for another full meal. Service was impeccable. We will try to get reservations here EVERY time we fly in to town, it's that good!

Amazing service, knowledgeable about food and cocktails. Flavors are so great. If I am ever back in Miami this is a must

It's all about the little details. The famous potato's with truffle really are all that. They were delish. But for example my food came first and my boyfriends came 10 mins later which is an awkward wait as I want to have our meals at the same time. The Ambience is nothing special and the pastas were too thick and the food didn't have enough salt. However the service was amazing, very helpful and informative staff.

Food and service always outstanding. And I hope they keep the lemon pasta on the menu forever. Such an amazing dish.

Since its inception Luca has been a great neighboorhood restaurant with delicious food and great service. It never disappoints. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. Keep it going!

Atmosphere is okay, servers are outstanding, and the food is genuinely delicious, very fresh with balanced flavor combinations and thoughtful recipes. The biggest downside is how rushed the whole experience feels. About 10 minutes after sitting down they asked for our full order, and roughly 45 minutes later we were told we had to switch tables for another reservation, even though we hadn’t even received our main course yet. The food and service are great, but the constant sense of hurry makes it hard to enjoy the meal. A slower pace and more customer consideration would make a huge difference.

We had a reservation issue for my daughter’s 18th bday (a very busy Saturday night in coral gables). The manager at Luna was so great to figure things out and squeeze my daughter and her friends in! The food was amazing, staff accommodating!
Thank you all again for a great night!

First time at Luca on a date night. Nice spot inside and outside for date night, birthday party or get together. Service from Claudio was exceptional. Claudio went above and beyond to make us feel welcome as first timers, gave us recommendations on food items not listed on menu. We ordered truffle pasta and lobster pasta as main dish. Dishes were delicious for me and ok for my husband. For my husband, he left that poster pasta was too acidic ( he got acid reflux after dinner 😒. We ordered delicious cocktails but I feel that drinks were overpriced at $21 each. I like Luca and will most likely go back but will definitely be more conscious of what I order so my bill for 3 appetizers, 2 main dishes and 4 cocktails don't add up to $345. I thought that was expensive but then again... we are in Miami!

The focaccia and olives were excellent. Claudio's advice was impeccable- knew the wine list, made sure all was well after each serving. Noisy but able to have a conversation.

The atmosphere was great. This is definitely my kind of place and energy. But the food I had was below average. The prosciutto was just a prosciutto with nothing else on it and the pasta dish was very sour. You could count the number of shrimps in the plate. Even the dessert was very average. Overall the restaurant is very expensive for the quality of food they serve.

We dined outside in January. It was lovely. Staff was busy and pitched in to cover tables as needed.

I have eaten in some of the most prestigious and recognized Italian restaurants in New York City and the country including Carbone, Cipriani and Marea. Always a great experience, good food, great service and atmosphere. Wanted to share that before reviewing a restaurant that is highly praised for the food and the ambiance and that won a MICHELIN Plate 2022 award for good cooking.

The Place:
We tried to get a reservation in the “Open Table” app and we were placed on the waiting list. Next day got a notification that there was a table available at 7:30 PM and we booked it. It was a Saturday night and the place was not that busy however, the servers made it look like it was very fast pace, vibrant and busy atmosphere. Perhaps that is why we felt like if we were being rush to order, to eat and to leave. We asked for recommendations from our server Alejandro and for an appetizer, he recommended the “Local Stracciattella with Honey” and when the food was delivered, it came with Prosciutto to which I said that I did not order that however, he forgot to mention that it was extra and not part of the appetizer. Did not find out until he brought me the bill and I saw the appetizer was $44.00, not a good business practice. Tried to reach the restaurant a few times, during different days however, nobody picked up the phone. When I finally spoke to the host, she told me that the manager was not available and that she was going to see if assistant manager was available. After a while, the host came back and got my information and said that they were going to refund the extra charges. Manager never came to find out what happened or to apologize for the confusion. Still waiting.
Also, when we asked about dishes, he was speaking very fast and hard to understand, like if he needed to leave to tend to other guests.

The Food:
“Local Stracciattella with Honey” and additional Prosciutto, it was okay. The “Pomodoro,” if you don’t like a lot of sauce, let them know to go light on it. Also, it was undercooked. The second pasta, “Pesto,” was also disappointing, undercooked and heavy on the pistachios. The “ Halibut,” too much herb lemon crust. We also ordered a drink, “The Greta,” had it better somewhere else. Very disappointed of the whole experience. Not planning to go back.
