Very good food and great service. We came on a weird hour so the place was empty but the food was extremely good and the waitress was very nice. We had the hummus, tabbouleh, falafel, baked kibbeh, the rice and lentils (forgot the name) and the Abelmoschus (quimbombó) and everything was delicious. The place is nice and it's definitely good to visit if you are craving some Moroccan food.

This used to be my favorite restuarant. Has the restuarant CLOSED FOR GOOD???? There's NO NOTICE OF CLOSURE, you call and no message seems it has closed it's doors and NO MESSAGE FOR THEIR GOOD CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE CLOSING. ?It says OPEN but it's NOT!!!!

Great lunches for decent prices and sometimes is better to just order a bunch of appetizers as they are so good. Dinner has a more Arabic flavor in the ambiance and some nights they have belly dancing which is more fun than you expect...

I ordered food for delivery. Waited two hours, made many phone calls asking where it was, only to be told, after 2 hours, they’re not delivering. Went to pick it up, half the order was missing and they won’t refund my money. This place used to be good, however the food AND service is very disappointing. Don’t like writing bad reviews but feel it’s necessary here.

If I could give negative stars I would. First, no one speaks English. We ordered sparkling water, got spring water. Tried to charge us for it. Brought out the red wine on ice and already opened. The chair was broken and my elderly mother got her finger stuck and injured. When we asked for some ice she brought out a bandaid. We were going to pay for the 2 bottles of wine and the small bottle of sparkling water. Total should have been $82. Left them $100. She said that wasn’t enough. She was charging us for the 3 bottles of spring water they brought out when we asked for sparkling and told them this isn’t what we ordered. She took that off. After that she wanted $106. She said they get an 18% tip on the table. My response was for getting everything wrong and broken furniture resulting in an injury, you don’t get a tip. We asked for a manager to resolve it, there wasn’t one there. I finally said you can have this that covers what we have or we can leave the bottles of wine and we can pay nothing. So run far away. A total shame because it used to be such a wonderful restaurant.

SCAM ALERT. Ate there with a friend today, they inflated the items on our bill and when I asked to see it itemized, she showed me but covered the prices with her finger. When we finally saw it, $6 was added to each of our entrees and $3 to our coffee. They brought out another menu which wasn’t ours and had the inflated prices. We were luckily able to find the menu we had which had the prices we had seen. When they “fixed” it they didn’t change anything at all the first time, then the second time took off only $5 each entree but not the coffee. When we finally got everything right we said we were refusing to pay tip and she said it wasn’t possible to remove it. I asked her for the owner and she said he was on vacation and they couldn’t remove it. We shouldn’t have paid it but we were eager to leave so we did. Never got a single apology from anyone and she was extremely rude the whole time. Food was average at best. Miami is full of scammers and fraudsters and this is another symptom of it.

The food is good however I’ve had many problems with takeout from this restaurant on multiple occasions. Ordering from their website is a joke. You place an order and expect it to be ready in 20-30 mins but then receive an email with an estimated 1+ hour wait time. It would be great to know this BEFORE ordering to choose whether to order somewhere else. Tonight we showed up at the restaurant and was told that we can cancel the order through their website. I’m attempting to cancel it however I’ve not received an email confirmation yet and the order is still being tracked.

Check out the Miami Herald article on this place. It was shut down for infestation of roaches. They were caught keeping knives in between equipmemt! Over 100 roaches were counted all over kitchen. They were shut down and have since passed inspection and opened again. Buyer beware.

I took my wife for lunch, we were the only table they had. We started off with the hummus and Falafel which was very good! My wife had baked Mousaka entree and I had chicken Kebab, the portions of both the entrees were extremely small and one of our sides was missing. The server never came to check on how the food was or if we needed something until we were finished eating. We would have understood if the restaurant was busy, but we were the only table there. The gratuity was already included which we think was not worth it for the service we got. Will not return.

Stale toasted bread had tiny cockroaches on the table; I could not eat seeing two of those roaming on the table containers. They change the bread with a fresh one, and I kept myself polite to make up my mood with a good kabab. Kafta kabab was awful, it's smel and look were stale, and the meat color was anti-appetite!The waiter served the ordered salad at the end of the meal; there was nothing there to change my mouth's taste, not to vomit!!! So I started the Iron ( yogurt drink), and unexpectedly, it was sweet against what I had in my mind!!!!!! Despite of talking about cocroaches with them, they charged me $45 for two sandwiches for all above suffering I tolerated on a Friday lunch!

I would love to give Maroosh five stars but our recent dinner experience left us disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient and the ambience is very pleasant. Both my husband and I ordered the fish which was delicious but Uncle Ben's rice and frozen vegetables? I don't think so!

So so dissapointed!!! Really hate to post negative things, but i feel we wasted our money and pretty upset about it and if the owners care, they will fix tgese issues. It started with the service. Waitress did not even pour water (just placed the bottle on our table) , didnt give new plates, forgot to bring water to begin with, not sure she understands English. But now about the food --- we ordered hummus and it usually comes with nice soft pita bread --- the bread came in dried up, as it it was reheated from earlier, we told her about it and she took that plate from us,she stood there, touched it with her hands as if to make sure she agreed or didnt believe us. She finally Left and brought back (relatively fast) a new plate of pita bread, just a little softer this time, but very very poor taste/quality.We ordered a very expensive Kebab Mix Grill and although the chicken and shrimp were good texture... (but I didnt even taste salt or pepper), the beef and kafta were the most bland meat EVER. like so so not worth the money $$!!!!! And now about the rice. You'd expect the rice to be delicious , two out of three plates, the rice was not EVEN hot, it was dry too but maybe it's always like that...we just expected so much from such a charming interior... what a shame and i feel we wasted our money.
