I called and ordered Something simple over the phone, large pizza half pepperoni and half Hawaiian thin sliced; I get there and the lady behind the counter said it was still being made even though I waited the 30 minutes before leaving my house witch was 13 minutes away she said it was a two minute wait that was a lie it took about 11 minutes and another thing I noticed was that the restaurant was empty That was a atomic red flag and I probably should have just left but I was curious to give it a try now that being said; the sauce was not so good it was without taste and the bread was a little soggy I don’t recommend this place a bit pricey for the bad experience, I went on a Tuesday I can’t imagine on a busy day. I recommend buying a small pizza to try the place out and not spend $22 like I did on a large.

I won’t give 1 star because I haven’t tried the pizza but the garlic rolls I ordered were pretty terrible. They were extremely small. The size of a donut hole. And where was the garlic? Because there wasn’t any on mine. Won’t come back here based on that.

The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. The selection of toppings is vast. The crust is perfectly crispy and cooked. The service has always been excellent. When it comes to pizza in the Gables, this is the place.

Ordered a pizza online to go. Showed up when I was texted that it would be available and the woman at the front said 20 more minutes despite the store being completely empty. We headed to Target across the street and then came back. I asked if it was done once again and she replied with an attitude no and said “i said 20 minutes”. She said 20 minutes 20 minutes ago… Absolutely ridiculous. We had to wait almost 2 hours for a pizza. Wouldn’t recommend.

Picked up a pizza to go from here and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dough, the flavor of the marinara as well as the quality of the toppings. The crispiness of the crust is a winner for me. Will definitely be back for more! If you’re in the Gables area, don’t overlook this place. One of the best pizzas in town!

I decided to finally give this place a try and I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered a half cheese and half pepperoni pie. Ingredients were very fresh and it was nice and hot. If I have to critique one thing it would be the sauce, it was a little too sweet for my liking. However, overall the pizza was really good!

My favorite pie in Miami. Everything made from scratch and you can taste it... the crust, the sauce and cheeses come together beautifully. It's like a symphony. The salads are great, snag the Caesar early before it runs out! Lastly, the cutest mother/son team run the restaurant, they are the best and also part of the reason I adore this place!

Pretty good calzone. Very generous portion for the price especially in Coral Gables. This place in general is quite affordable. The crust was amazing. My only complaint is the grease level and the time it took. The grease is pretty intense.It took over 30 minutes to get a calzone to go when there was literally no one there but me. Seems like that is a consistent issue based on other reviews

The pizza here is "PHAT" Phenomenal, Hot, Affordable, and Tasty. I like a good hot crispy pizza and I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit to Merrick's Pizza. This will now be the only place I frequent in Coral Gables for Pizza. I have tried every other place and none compare. It seems that it is more of a pickup or delivery kind of pizza place but that may just be because of covid ramifications. Regardless, this is the best pizza in Coral Gables and the woman at the counter was very friendly and accommodating as well. Highly recommend!
