I just love this place! I may have posted a review in the past, can't recall, but we just keep going back. We have invited several different friends, and everyone agrees with how wonderful it is. Can't lie, I always order the same thing, the hogfish! It's amazing! However I have tried other dishes and love everything. I also recommend their fried rice. Everything from their appetizers to dessert is great!

I have been to Coral Gables on vacation many times but this was my first time dining at Mesa Mar. It was a Sunday night so it wasn’t that crowded. The service was excellent. We had stone crabs which were very fresh and tasty. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was fabulous. I highly recommend it. My wife had the fish of the day which was a snapper and she found it to be quite good. My daughter had the paella over rice which was excellent as well. Overall the food, service and atmosphere were wonderful and I give it a very high rating and look forward to returning in the near future.

Very nice seafood restaurant in Coral Gables. We started with tuna tacos appetizer which were delicious. We then ate grilled hogfish which was excellent. Service was very good.

My wife and have been many times over the years. The food is well prepared and plated. An eclectic menu and great specials. Staff friendly and efficient. Portions tend to be substantial. Will continue to return when possible. Only complaint is that the A/C makes it way too cold.

have been here twice for celebrations, and they have a big problem... If you visit their website and look at the menu, the prices shown are completely different from the ones in the restaurant. It shows a lack of professionalism and presentation, and it really hurts their credibility. I asked the manager why they do this, and the answer was: “I don’t know!” I felt deceived.
Had take out, the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

We were celebrating my nephew's bday and it was a lot of fun with the funny hat and the dessert with the candle. The food was outstanding a little pricey but really really good. I will definitely do it again.
