A Night to Remember at Mesa Seafood Restaurant – Coral Gables
On May 10th, we celebrated a very special occasion—my son’s graduation and birthday—and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mesa Seafood Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth, professionalism, and joy. The entire evening was beyond perfect.
The food was absolutely exceptional—fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented—and every guest at our table was amazed by the quality and taste. From the appetizers to the main course, every bite was memorable.
But it wasn’t just the food—it was the people. The service was outstanding, thoughtful, and made us all feel so welcomed. They went above and beyond to make my son and myself feel truly special, and I will always be grateful for that.
Thank you, Mesa Mar and for giving us a celebration full of joy, flavor, and unforgettable memories. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to celebrate a milestone—or simply enjoy an incredible meal in a beautiful setting.

Mesamar is a little local gem.. ???? They always find a way to impress us. Food/Service is outstanding and thats why we keep coming back!!!!! It has that awesome vibe, so if your with friends, family, or on a date.... You'll be 100% satisfied!!!!!??

We ordered from the Miami Spice dinner menu. The scallop appetizer was excellent and the sauce was so good that I was dipping the rock shrimp in it as well. The paella was very very good and had a lot of seafood in it. We will be back.

The food is delicious. Presentation and preparation is amazing. We were a party of 3. Two of us did the Miami Spice menu. Rock shrimp and ceviche were outstanding! We had the sea bass. Delish. Another ordered Hog fish. Half fried and half grilled. Tasty, great sides and filling. As good as it is, it really is pretty expensive.

Visited restaurant for the Miami Spice promotion. The fried calamari were overcooked. The branzino was spectacular. The flan was just ok - would have been nice to have offered something a little more special to showcase the restaurant for future visit. Flan is on the menu even at the most common and humble restaurants and ventanitas. The garnish used to decorate the main course plates was old and wilted - better not to use it on the plates!

When visiting different restaurants during Miami Spice months, we've come across restaurants that serve small portions or don't provide the level of service that one would encounter when ordering off of the regular menu. That is definitely not the case at Mesamar! The choices on the Spice were outstanding and the portions were plentiful and delicious! The service was outstanding and the entire experience was wonderful! Thank you to our server, Wendy for making my friend's birthday very special!!
Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, accessible parking, but most importantly, yummy food! Portions were very generous and well presented. Plan to come back soon!

MesaMar is one of my favorite restaurants; I have never had a bad experience on any of my visits. Each previous visit, I have introduced the restaurant to family members and friends, and this one was no exception. We chose the Miami Spice menu options of Scallops, Rock Shrimp, Chilean Sea Bass and enjoyed every mouthful. Our servers were very attentive, pleasant and accommodating. Cannot wait for another excuse to visit again.

We go to MesaMar very often. Always have good service and hostesses and waiters are always very nice and our food always comes out quickly, however last night we ordered our fish and waited about 40 mins for our food. My husband went to ask and they explained there was a problem in the kitchen with the size of the fish. We understood, they offered us an appetizer on the house but we do not like ceviche so we thanked the waiter & declined. Our food came out shortly after and it was delicious. We ordered a dessert afterwards and they took the dessert off our bill. We will continue to visit the restaurant because we really like it and enjoy their food. Thank you for The complimentary dessert. We are very frequent customers.
