We went for Miami Spice and the options on the menu were pretty decent. For appetizers, we picked the beef carpaccio and rock shrimp. Then had New York strip and the parillada for our main course. For dessert, we got both options on the menu which were almond praline and the chocolate mousse. Everything was nothing short of scrumptious! Service was also great. This is our first time to try Mesa Mar and certainly won't be the last.

I had the marisco dear and was disappointed by the lack of variety. The soup was salty. The Cesar salad was fine. The crevice did not have much shrimp in it. A very pretty place and we sat and talked for a long time without interruption.

For starters we had the rock shrimp and salmon sashimi, both delicious. Our main was the parrillada Del Mar (1/2 a lobster tail, mussels, shrimp, calamari and bay scallops) it was all delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was also very good.
