Awesome spot for amazing food and warm friendly staff. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and offered mostly take out items but did have outdoor seating if you planned to eat there. We were greeted by Jose who offered us a shot of his new years lentil soup which was so flavorful! He has been there 13 years and with us being new to the area he had offered us sights to see and places to go. So sweet! Stopped in this morning to grab breakfast for myself and my family while visiting the area before our cruise, and I’m so glad I did! I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly welcome from the owner. The menu had a great selection of simple yet delicious breakfast options and fresh baked goods. Don’t miss this (nearly hidden) gem. Nestled on the DOUGLAS ROAD side of the building (see photos), you can hop up to the terrace (where there are outdoor dining tables) from the northern edge of 1 Alhambra Place. There is also an entrance from the lobby.Although most patrons seemed to be regulars, this newbie was treated like a long-lost friend. A very nice Western Omelet and a large Cafe con Leche made a great start to my day.
