Daniella gossiping all morning and I had to wait 10 minutes for their conversation to end until I finally said I need to go to work and left rather being attended by them. Do your job. Customers first. I don’t need to wait for you to finish telling your story

I’ve debated leaving a review for a while, but I finally feel it’s time. Let me start by saying the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other bakeries and cafeterias in Miami. I’ve genuinely loved everything I’ve tried (from the sandwiches and pastelitos to the breakfast meals and hot food. Everything is consistently great).

Unfortunately, the reason for removing two stars (and honestly considering removing three) is the staff. I usually visit in the mornings, so this feedback is specifically about the morning crew (I’m not sure if the afternoon or evening staff is different). The service has been consistently disappointing: rude, dry, and giving off the impression that there is zero desire to be there. I didn’t want to leave this review at first because I thought maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but after experiencing the same thing repeatedly, it’s become too much.

It’s reached a point where the service alone makes me hesitant to return, no matter how good the food is, which is truly unfortunate.

The food and drinks are amazing! Buttt the service wasnt good at all!!! The cuban lady who’s cooking inside the kitchen was very unfriendly, looks like she doesnt like her job, serving a COLD BUN BURGER! What is the sense of that? We almost come here everyday and we always encounter her being unfriendly to the customer. I hope this review reach to the owner of this location. She served us raw beef, maybe out of frustration? You better do your job lady. This is disappointing!

First of all, the hours listed are incorrect. I mentioned this to the cashier (for their own benefit), but she didn’t even acknowledge me. They offer a variety of empanadas—I tried the Argentinian one, which was very good. However, as I started eating, another lady, possibly the manager, suddenly yelled at me, saying that I had to pay first. Nobody had informed me of this policy.

To make matters worse, they charged me for a “gourmet” empanada instead (which cost $2 more). When I questioned the charge, the manager got upset but eventually refunded me the overcharge— in coins.

If you plan to visit this place, be sure to ask for a receipt and double-check it, just as I did.

A few days ago I visited the magnificent place, the bread with steak and the service. I returned today 03/02/2025 and I already had a bad experience, I don't think I will return again. The offer of bread with steak that came with soda from the machine, today the machine was already broken and he told me after he charged me so the solution was another small soft drink, the service was very bad this shift and the bread was half of what they offered me on my first visit. I don't think it's right for them to sell me something that is different from what I was charged without first telling me.

I ordered the ham egg and toast breakfast instead of ham I asked for bacon. After making a big deal out of it and going back and forth for a long time they charged me an extra $7 for substituting my ham for bacon. So the original breakfast is 7.99 and I was charged $15. The bacon was also nasty and overcooked and they gave me a whole container of it instead of just a side. They put it in the deep fryer instead of on the stovetop. Won’t ever be coming back here again. Literally the absolute worst experience. I have the food away to a homeless person.

The bathroom is dirty AF so you have to clean the toilet seat before you can use it. And if you're not done with your business within 10 mins they'll bang on the door. The food is either hit or miss. The wings are practically flavorless without sauce. They don't finish cooking scrabbled eggs all the way either. The coffee sometimes tastes burnt.

Don't allow yourself to die without trying "Mima's Gourmet Empanadas". I love the beef ones. This place is inside a neighborhood gas station. A good option to grab and go!
