Awesome staff, the food was amazing, and it was a beautiful view. Perfect for a nice date or family brunch.

Different dinner experience from what were are used to. This was more secluded, more personal, and a little bit more European. Definitely great food and service altogether

Great food and service. Our server was Priscilla, and she made the experience quite enjoyable. Very attentive and friendly. The ambiance is very nice being near the beach. Ample parking which needs to be paid for so please be careful to avoid a ticket. Downloading the PayByPhone app makes that much easier. Seems like the menu and pricing changed since the last time we visited during the Summer. The pricing in particular did go up considerably. Not a complaint - just an observation worthy of mention. Would return and do recommend.

Amazing diner date place. Location overlooking the beach inside Matheson Hammocks. Staff was super pleasant the the martinis were exceptional. Best fried snapper I have had in Miami

We enjoyed eating outside during this beautiful time of year. We were seated promptly, and our initial drink order was taken quickly. The overall service throughout the meal was attentive and excellent. The food was inconsistent. My husband greatly enjoyed the Branzino, and the dessert was delicious. However, the steak was just okay—certainly not amazing. The evening's biggest detractor was the background noise; the music choice was annoying and detracted from the setting and the restaurant's vibe.

A patron of Redfish Grill for years, delighted when Noma opened. Always a good time & cuisine, invited a friend & looked forward to a wonderful culinary experience. Warm & welcome greeting at arrival, service with Carlos & Jose in training, kind and polite. I raved to my guest about the great food & we settled in. My guest immediately commented on the very high prices & while I agreed with her, I shared dining in Miami most anywhere has become very expensive, enjoy the view, relax & we did. Ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio, Carlos made a recommendation for Banfi at an increase of $8, fine no challenge, & his recommendation was excellent. We ordered appetizers, Margarita pizza & Manchego Croquettes excellent & we had decided on Linguine & Steak as our entrees yet held off on ordering entrees to enjoy the weather, view and wine. I asked for black pepper & Parmesan cheese for the Margarita, when salt & pepper was delivered I was informed there would be an “up charge” for Parmesan cheese, that stunned me especially after my guest made the comment of overly ridiculous prices. I responded I was unwilling to pay for a sprinkle of cheese & that was that. We were so stunned, we opted to not enjoy a 2nd bottle of wine and our two entrees of which we were looking forward to. I know fine dining, I know & appreciate culinary taste yet to be told I would be charged for Parmesan cheese was the limit, my boundary would allow, sad for such a trivial thing Noma dropped its reputation & the greed of dining in Miami reared its ugly head. Food costs everywhere are high & well known food markup in restaurants is 10+ times cost. The bottle of Banfi is $15 at local liquor store, Noma charged $56, is that not marked up enough which is expected, to not have to belittle Donatella & ask a patron to pay for a sprinkle of cheese? Wow, low class. Will I return? Most likely yet won't order anything I may want a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on.

Not worth the price. Nice location. The taste of the food not memorable. Crappy cocktails, especially for the price.

A beautiful spot to come for a drink. The food was basically meh to average. A $30 salad was a bowl of lettuce with some corn, a few cherry tomatoes, sliced watermelon radish and a couple of cucumbers. Something you'd be served in the diner on the corner. The rest of the meal was fine but nothing special in any way. But the location can't be beat and we'd go back for drinks for sure.

Amazing view and unique spot in Miami. Great for happy hour. Food was good but not the main thing.

Sunset, Salt, and Swagger: Dining at NOMA Beach at Redfish
.
CORAL GABLES, FL - Golden hour in Coral Gables does its best work at NOMA Beach at Redfish, where the bay turns to liquid bronze and the rooftop draws a good-looking crowd nursing tall-stemmed spritzes. Set inside Matheson Hammock Park—the only true waterfront dining address in the Gables—this modern, coastal-Italian outpost feels purpose-built for date nights, proposals, and the kind of unbothered weeknight that slides into a second bottle. The setting is the flex: a coral-stone landmark, palm-ringed beach, and a rooftop patio with wide-open views of Biscayne Bay.
.
Linen, leather sandals, a whisper of salt, and a soundtrack that gets warmer as the sun drops. Staff skew friendly and on-the-ball— regulars call out attentive service and event pros who run the rooftop like a private club—though, like many Miami hot tickets, peak hours can stretch patience.
.
Chef-owner Donatella Arpaia steers the menu toward glossy Mediterranean comfort with seafood first in line. Start with the Hanging Board — prosciutto di Parma, Marcona almonds, fig jam, cheeses and honey—hung tableside like jewelry; it’s theater and appetite-builder in one. The fritto misto (semolina-crusted calamari and shrimp with avocado aioli) is a crisply addictive second act. Prices are Miami-prime but transparent: $42 for that board, $40 for the fritto, $35 for Donatella’s award-winning meatballs, and salads spanning $25–$37.
.
Those meatballs are a house signature, swaddled in slow-braised ragù—comfort food dressed for a night out. On the lighter side, the Stone Fruit Caprese layers grilled peaches and burrata with basil and prosciutto, a sun-kissed detour that eats like a South Florida postcard. For mains, branzino with lemon-caper butter and gigante beans is the clean, confident order; pasta traditionalists go for rigatoni tossed in a broken-meatball ragù.
.
Cocktails are where the rooftop gets chatty. The program leans seasonal and agave-curious, with a deep bench of tequilas and mezcals, while the bar keeps crowd-pleasers in rotation—Aperol spritz at sundown, a cucumber-gin number when the humidity bites, and a notably silky espresso martini when the night asks for punctuation.
.
As for damage: the experience at $31–$50 per person before tax and tip; Miami’s tourism board lists it at “$$$ ($31–$45).” Given the postcard real estate and the coastal-Italian polish, that’s in line with the neighborhood — and mercifully south of sticker shock for a special-occasion table.
.
Housekeeping for the planners: reservations are wise, the rooftop hosts recurring happenings (think winemaker dinners and themed evenings), Sunset Wednesday–Friday Happy Hour on the outdoor bar is a savvy play for oysters and cocktails with that cinematic sky.
.
The verdict? NOMA Beach at Redfish is Miami distilled: spectacular water, dressed-up comfort food, and a bar that understands the assignment. Come for the posture, stay for the plates—especially that branzino, the fritto, and the meatballs—and embrace the occasional Miami hiccup as the cost of admission to a front-row seat on Biscayne Bay. It's salt-sprayed, sun-dappled, a touch high-maintenance, and unapologetically fun.

Our server Daniel was absolutely amazing. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. Gio — the manager, was very kind and welcoming. This was an amazing place to visit. The food was delectable, very rich, and very fast between finding a table to getting our food. I would recommend eating at this place and I would dine again any day!

The food was amazing. We ordered the meatballs and pan con tomato as appetizer. They were very generous portions. The meatballs were flavorful and perfect consistency. We also ordered the fried whole snapper, the bolognese and the Oro Nero. Everything was absolutely perfect. Our server, Carlos, went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant experience. It did pour rain but that obviously is a chance you take when you dine outdoors in Miami. Carlos did everything in his power to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely visit again.
