This is my favorite ever restaurant: we celebrated our rehearsal dinner here and so many anniversaries since. I just cannot believe I will never eat here again.

What a wonderful spot!! I stumbled across this restaurant by chance looking for something different. It exceeded all my expectations, when I walked in the ambiance was charming and very Caribbean. My lunch was superb fresh clean flavors and the server was very helpful in pairing a wine with my truffle crepe short ribs that I will dream about for days!! You could tell this was a great local spot by how everyone was greeted. The Chef/Owner came by to make sure all was well. I couldn’t decide on dessert so I had 2 both equally delicious the bread pudding and the Rum cake. I’m so glad I ventured out to try something new and can’t wait to bring my family back!!

The food was very well prepared and presented. We were greeted, our reservation confirmed and shown to our table right away. It was very cold inside and we were seated directly below a vent that was blowing cold air. When I mentioned that I was cold, the answer was "yeah, it's really cold in here". There were only 5-6 tables occupied that evening, so I am sure that is part of the reason it was colder, but no offer to re-seat us or even just to check to see if something could be adjusted started my evening off on the wrong note. The best way to describe the service is polite but neglectful. We bought a bottle of wine and our glasses were not refilled, even though our server passed our table regularly. There was only one other table in our area, right next to ours where he spent most of his time. The bread basket showed up with our dinner. Every other table had it delivered after being seated and bread would have been appreciated with our appetizer. After dinner, our server asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu, then disappeared for about 10-15 minutes. When he returned, he asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu. Not any more. After we left, I got a notice from Open Table that we had not shown up for our reservation! I called the restaurant and instead of a "so sorry, I'll fix that right away", I got an excuse from the hostess that one of the servers probably seated us and not her. No, the hostess seated us, she apparently didn't confirm with OT. With only 5-6 tables occupied that evening, the overall lack of attention cannot be explained by being busy. A rather disappointing experience at such a highly rated restaurant.

The food was absolutely amazing right down to the desserts
Was there last Saturday night. I had the Ortanique martini which was delicious. For dinner I had a tuna, Which I have to say is probably the best tuna I have ever had in my entire life. It is absolutely a melt in your mouth tuna! My date had the grouper which was also delicious. For dessert we split a rum cake which was just so-so-that I would not recommend. The service was great and the atmosphere is very romantic, although there were children there. Overall an exceptional dining experience and I recommend.

We visited two other times, years ago...glad we went back. We tried to find parking (valets were all full) for forty minutes so we were very late for our reservation, but it was honored and we were welcomed. I had the j*** pork chop and while it had a very nice flavor and was very large (double bone ) it could have been slightly more tender. My husband had the short rib appetizer for his meal and said it was quite possibly the BEST meal he had ever had. We will surely go back!

Have been here any number of times over the years most recently for a post theater dinner. The food is always well prepared and tasty. This time they even comped me a glass of wine as they neglected to include anchovies with my caesar salad.
