Excellent experience at Il Protosole. Edgar’s service was outstanding. The Florentine steak was spectacular, and the burrata, pesto, and truffle pastas were next level. The tiramisu and special coffee were the perfect finish. Highly recommended!

Had a very pleasant experience at Portosole in coral gables. The staff was very attentive and friendly , the restaurant guests looked mostly like locals and the food was good as well. Had a few different appetizers like the eggplant and also their mozzarella . The main dishes were partially a big steak to share with some vegetables and roasted potatoes. Everything tasted good. Nothing was the best I ever had but it didn’t suck like most Italian restaurants in Miami. I would return !

What an evening! We really enjoyed our Italian meal and great service at Portosole last week. When we return to the Miami area we plan to dine there at least twice. It has a wonderful neighborhood feel with lots of regulars and a cheery vibe. The food is incredible. Highly recommend. Thanks Portosole staff for our special evening.

All I can say is WOW. Portosole is one of the best restaurants in Coral Gables. It is located on the corner of Valencia and Ponce de Leon. There is a parking garage one block over from the restaurant which is very convenient to park and walk over. Today we went for lunch, but I have had lunch there a few times and dinner as well and it’s consistently excellent. Their staff is on point. We received a warm greeting from their GM Ivan and our server, Alfredo, was a rockstar. He knew the menu perfectly, presented the specials and explained everything to us clearly. He was very attentive to anything we needed and very prompt responding with anything we asked for.
We ordered the burrata with heirloom tomatoes appetizer which was super fresh and delicious. For the entree, we ordered the salmon with black rice. It’s probably the best salmon I’ve ever had. One of my friends told them it was my birthday and they were kind enough to bring a tiramisu with a candle in it along with a little chocolate happy birthday sign. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back to enjoy Portosole again. Highly recommend!!

Went for Thanksgiving dinner with the family and had the best Thanksgiving meal ever. Had the turkey roll and the rissoto with white truffle and it was devine. Service was excellent by our server Benoir. Highly recommended.
