The food is good, but be ready for a 16% service charge in addition to the tip.

Possibly the best Mexican I have ever eaten. Excellent enchiladas, Poblano dinner, apps and drinks. Fun, elevated atmosphere which is more like fine dining but at a very affordable price. Definitely upscale compared to most American mexican restaurants. Knowledgeable and attentive waiter.

Great food. Recomend the octopus, the flauta and rhe cochinita pibil. The esquites are the best Ive ever had.

First review ever. Loving Mexican food and having eaten it everywhere, Talavera was an enlightening and amazing experience. From an endless list of premium tequila and mezcal to the best margarita I ever had, we were truly floored. The food was regional and national, from the best queso fundido to the tacos to the mains from around the country. Side salsas were bright and heat was real, along with flavor. Bread pudding on par with any I've ever had (except mi abuela). Valet in front and mariachis on call for any special occasion. Will be back to experience this again.

Good dining experience! I ordered the branzino entero “a la talla” and it was really good. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The jasmine rice and beans on the side were full of flavor, great combination!

La experiencia siempre es excelente, la Comida es espectacular, los sabores de cada platillo son de lo mejor, el servicio del personal es como realmente siempre queremos cuando vamos a un restaurante con atención en cada momento, Andy el gerente siempre está muy atento con todo lo que ocurre en el restaurante para que la experiencia sea de lo mejor y uno siempre quiera volver a repetir, 10 de 10!

The ceviche, queso fundido, and the salsas were very good. However, I ordered the chicken flautas, and the chicken was very bland and dry. My mother got chicken enchiladas, and again, the shredded chicken used was not flavorful.

The food and service at Talavera is consistent. We enjoy the ceviche very much and the mole is great.

Amazing place, Food delicious, service excellent, We booked for a Friend birthday and we had very great time , I'm making another reservation for lunch tomorrow because I loved the food .

From my favorite restaurants, the best meat I've ever tasted and the quesadillas are incredible

The food was delicious and flavorful. It all came out super hot, fresh and quick. The food runners were very attentive with taking our plates quickly and replenishing our waters. They immediately brought over the corn chips were fresh and crunchy with the salsa verde and rojo (super good.) We ordered the “Tetelas Cinco de Mayo” to start with cheese and black truffle cream sauce - absolutely delicious. It only came with 2 but still yummy nonetheless. To share we had “Costillas Cargada en Birria” - I would HIGHLY recommend for 2 people to share. (It's basically all protein.) Overall really great experience - would be back again for date night.

We haven't been here in years, and it is still a wonderful experience for authentic Mexican cuisine. Excellent service, nicely upgraded dining area, creative cocktails (margaritas!), delicious food! They still offer the amazing Palomas dessert - one of my favorite desserts ever!! Dining room is loud - my only complaint. We are there to converse with our companions - it's not a night club - at least not at 7 pm. Still - highly recommend!!!

The food was good though very spicy. The service was excellent with many suggestions & explanations from the waiter. Sitting outside was delightful.
