It’s basically a grimy old watering hole. And I mean that in a good way. They have one of the best happy hour specials in coral cable cables. It’s a great place to pregame or post game before or after getting a bite to eat at one of the amazing restaurants outside.

Visiting The Bar in Coral Gables was simply a spectacular experience. The atmosphere is cozy, vibrant, and full of great energy, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was Nani, the most special and wonderful bartender we’ve ever met.
From the very first moment, Nani made us feel at home with her kindness, professionalism, and a smile that lights up the place. She is not only incredibly courteous but also has a unique talent for crafting cocktails that are a work of art, both in flavor and presentation.
It’s rare to find someone who loves their job so much and expresses it so genuinely. Thanks to Nani, The Bar has become our favorite spot in Coral Gables, and we can’t wait to come back soon. If you’re looking for a place with excellent service and a special touch, you can’t miss visiting this spot and meeting Nani!

This place is amazing!!! The staff, the drinks, the food & the vibes are always on point.
The Bar is a fantastic spot with great vibes, amazing drinks, and friendly staff. The atmosphere is always on point, and it’s the perfect place to hang out with friends or unwind after a long day. I’ve been here several times, and everything is always top-notch—except for the Saturday DJ. While the music is usually great throughout the week, the Saturday DJ’s set doesn’t quite match the energy of the place and can be a bit of a letdown. Other than that, it’s still one of my favorite spots!

The reveiws of this place HAD to be purchased. Notice how management never responds to the 5 star reveiws, not even a thankyou. Thats because they paid for those reveiws, most of which don't even have a description. The truth of this place can be found in the lowest rated reveiwsi where people actually took the time to write out their experience.
This place is one of the last vestiges of Old Miami Slop... everywhere else got with the times. The manager Stretch needs sobriety counseling and a 12 step program, he is honestly the worst candidate for running a party I've ever seen. Zero and I mean Zero cool factor, he's like the insecure old guy at the frat party. It's depressing and pathetic, the guy's gotta go Miami does'nt deal with those old school nightlife weirdos anymore they faded away with the toxic club culture of old. The guy is seriously unbearable as a person. There's like this weird ego issue with him where he comes off as obnoxiously toxic repulsive.
Food is trash but thats to be expected this is a hole in the wall where it's more about the party than the culinary experience.
The staff is absolutely terrible and reflect their manager's disdain for life. They're at eachother's throats with gossip and drama, they don't even feel like hospitality staff, like you wouldnt see them working anywhere else because they could'nt. Horrible and I mean horrible service. DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD, CASH ONLY. They will overcharge you just to autograt your tab & even that level of teamwork is a overestimation for this group.
If you sit out back and listen in, you can get all the chisme, the staff hates eachother. Apparently the bar backs are unhappy because they're overstaffed on any night they'd actually make money, which I guess is a punishment from the management. The security is blatantly and I mean BLATANTLY racist with the conversation I overheard regarding his unsolicited take on politics. Not sure if he's still there, probably is because who would want to work in an environment where toxicity is a top to bottom issue.
It's insane this place even functions at what low level they're able to achieve. Miserable alcoholic management, resentful staff, horrible service, shady bartenders, prejudicial security. It's almost like a reality TV show.

A Dive bar with fun decor, great music, and reasonably priced drink for the area. Unfortunately, customer service is lacking a bit, and bartenders are more worried about the shots they are drinking than serving. Overall, it was a good time, but expect to wait a bit for your drinks and to have to repeat your drink order multiple times to get it correct.
