Food was sub par. One server for over 20 tables, although she did her best. The Cobb salad included processed chicken, not fresh and wilted lettuce. The pork in the Cuban sandwich tasted like it was reheated or old. The quality was not there. Coffee was good.

What a great spot! Books & Books always has something going on: comedy night, spoken poetry events, and a plethora of other events. The cafe's food never disappoints either, and their happy hour deals are amazing! $5 wine and select apps, and plenty of seating both inside and outside at the patio/bar. Service is wonderful too; everyone is super attentive and kind. This is probably my favorite Books & Books location--the ambiance is unbeatable!

Food and drinks hit right in this local institution. Trivia nights on Tuesdays are a hoot!Parking: Either pay for parking on the street (highly unlikely to find) or the affordable Municipal garage next to the Coral Gables Art Cinema (across the street from B&B).

We were originally planning on going to Macondo next door, but ended up coming here instead! Our lunch and coffee was really good, and I loved that we could sit outside enjoying our meal while reading the paper. We got the hummus and pita to start, shrimp avocado pesto hoagie and Cuban sandwich. Highly recommend all!

Wonderful independently owned bookstore known for hosting authors/book signings/lectures; also has a cafe/bar on site; dine outdoors in plaze or inside; live music in plaza; we always enjoy reading the titles of banned books over the archway .
So glad we found this place while visiting Miami for the day. The staff is very friendly and we were able to stay for a while and work while waiting for our evening flight. The turkey panini and chocolate banana bread were very tasty. The vanilla cold brew was good too. There aren’t many outlets but there is plenty of seating. Will definitely come back the next time we’re in town.
