The One on Sunset Restaurant

Yummy casual place with menu options for everyone. Hubby loves the many burger and fry options. I love the salads and Healthy Bowl with salmon. Friendly staff. Not crowded. We've been there a few times and always end up bringing home left-overs. Next time I need to save room for ice cream! This restaurant is hidden next to Crown Wine on US 1 by Sunset Place. There is parking in front and back but it's easy to drive past if you don't know it's there. They may benefit from bigger signage to make it easier to find, but otherwise it's great.

The food was fine. Classic burger + plain fries. But this place doesn't have the soul that Swensen's did. Your drink is brought in a plastic bottle instead of a glass. Not only is this aesthetically unpleasant but it creates unnecessary plastic waste. Your order is placed on an iPad instead of face to face. I get that it may be more efficient but it feels like I'm in the movie Wall-E where technology replaces human interaction at every turn. I'm surprised they didn't have a Roomba bringing me my meal.I like the fact that they kept the large ice cream variety that Swensen's was known for as well as a craft beer bar. The Greek themes in many of the many items are cool and I like that they serve Baklava.To put it shortly, it's good food but the classic restaurant experience isn't quite there by design.

If you enjoyed Swensen's before it closed you will like The One on Sunset. The menu is very similar. I had the Nice burger which was excellent. All the food was good. Honestly I hope it sticks around for a while.

They run an UberEats app under the name Smash’d Burgers n Fries. The last three orders have been wrong, missing items, special notes or raw.Today the app advertised buy one get one free. Ordered two burgers and got two burgers. Where a steak can be cooked at different temperatures, ground beef is a health hazard if not we’ll done. The burgers were completely pink inside. Fries and rings were greedy and soggy.Last time I order from here.

We stopped here on vacation because of the menu. The staff was excellent, Laurn and Michelle were both knowledgeable and so friendly. The burgers were some of the best we've had! The 305 and the Latin burger were seasoned so well and all the topings were well prepared. Kids menu was also tasty. My picky eaters were satisfied and shared a milkshake at the end. We hope to visit one more time before going back home. And to top it all off the prices were very reasonable.

Very good food and service. I loved that we could order from the tablet on the table. It made everything very easy. The 305 burger and guava cheese sticks were incredible. The only complaint I had was that the ice cream was mediocre. So I recommend going for the food, but skipping the ice cream.

Although I haven’t been to this restaurant yet but plan to in the very near future I am giving them 5 stars for keeping a favored landmark alive. My husband got his first job at 15 at Swensens 42 years ago as a fountaineer making milk shakes and sundaes. Needless to say he has fond memories. We would go there with our daughters to celebrate special occasions. Prior to the pandemic we stopped going because it sadly went downhill. Kuddos to the new owner for bringing it back to life. See you soon!!!

Really enjoyed our first time here! Staff was super helpful & friendly. Food was very tasty & cooked right to order. Atmosphere was fantastic & we definitely enjoyed our meal!

I wasn’t super thrilled with this restaurant, I remember it as Swansons and it hasn’t changed much on the inside with the exception of the bar where it used to be a milkshake bar. My father and I both noticed a smell walking in and we didn’t really like the tablet menu. The service was fine but we were the only ones there until a party of three came in. They equally looked confused with the tablet menu.

My second time. There are SO many items on the menu! I will definitely go back many more times to try them (all). I did indulge myself in the 305 burger. It has everything Miami has to offer. Who is counting the calories? ? They even have an ironman burger, but I guess I have to complete one to deserve it. Staff is great, courteous, fast and super friendly. Save room for desert!!!

I had my sons birthday dinner with friends and family and from the moment I called they were extremely accommodating. I am so glad I did it there. The food, drinks, floats were great. So much to pick from.They let me bring my own cake and were even nice enough to cut it for me. Elliot the manager is top notch and is always thinking of the customers satifaction. I will most definitely be coming back and will only speak great things about this place. Thank you so much for making my sons birthday so special.

I had great time eating delicious food at the one of sunset restaurant. The staff were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely liked. Most importantly, every food and drink on your menu tasted great !!!

Great neighborhood eatery. Options for the entire family. Well priced. Awesome service. Everybody leaves happy. Lots of memories. Desserts were delicious. Guava cheese sticks yummy. Try it all.

I am obsessed with TheOne on Sunset! Dimitris is the owner and he is extremely friendly and welcoming. The manager and employees are great as well. The food is fantastic. Many different options for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free, meat eaters— the sky is the limit! The ice cream is also to die for and many options for everyone as well! It’s definitely a must if you love good food, good/ warm atmosphere and great drinks! Can’t wait to come back!❤️
