The wait outside is obnoxious and unnecessary. This can easily be solved by adding a waitlist or anything for that matter. That being said, the food delivered. It was well balanced, and it brought back some joy after a difficult wait and a not so perfect service. We had a couple of plates. I suggest all of them but the duck. Tina in the Gables was a bit of a mixed experience. We waited about an hour and a half in line to get a table, which felt like a very long time. The place is very small and smells strongly like the kitchen, which made it a little uncomfortable. We ordered an egg sandwich and a crab sandwich, and while both were good, they were not worth that long of a wait in my opinion. That being said, the French toast is truly unique and definitely the highlight of the menu.
This place is spectacular. The food is absolutely top tier; I’ve tried almost the entire menu and there wasn’t a single dish I wouldn’t recommend. Everything is delicious this is real food at its finest.
