Great food. Great coffee. If you wanna open up your laptop, go somewhere else. It’s not allowed.

Tinta y Cafe is my favorite sandwich shop in Miami, my favorites the TFC (crispy chicken breast), Bori (egg), and in my opinion one of the best burgers in town, la frita burger, which they only make on fridays.
Their dining area is not that large, so getting a table could be a 15 min wait minimum, and if in a rush you could always pre order or place an order at their walk-up ventanita and sit at the first come first serve outdoor terrace area.
In summary, just go, enjoy a great meal!

I stopped by for a quick coffee and planned to do a short bit of work on my laptop while I was there. The place itself is nice, the food looked good, and service was decent.

However, the experience quickly became frustrating due to a lack of clarity around their rules. When I went inside to ask for Wi-Fi, I was told they don’t offer public Wi-Fi at all. That’s totally fine but this really needs to be made clear somewhere visible in the storefront. It wasn’t obvious at all.

I then decided to sit outside in a corner of the open seating area and work off my own hotspot, where I wasn’t bothering anyone. A manager came out and told me laptops aren’t allowed either. Again, if there were clearly posted signs saying no Wi-Fi and no laptop use, I simply wouldn’t have chosen this spot in the first place. Customers shouldn’t have to read Google reviews to understand basic café rules.

The interaction itself also felt a bit off. At one point I even asked if I could work from my car, and was told “technically no because we don’t know what you’re doing,” which was honestly confusing and unnecessary.

In the end, I had to leave without being able to do the quick work I came for. The lack of transparency and the way the rules were enforced made the experience uncomfortable, and unfortunately I don’t plan to return.

The food/drinks were good, but we went around 9am on a Saturday morning and waited about 35 minutes for a to-go order of 3 drinks and 2 pastelitos. Maybe they had an off day or it's a new location, but I don't think I'd wait in that line again.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Their cubano sandwich is called Patria but there’s another sandwich identical except on “media noche” bread and *chefs kiss* is it delicious. It’s called Noche Entera. The bread is just ever-so sweet, bright yellow and crispy and tender. Cubano elevated. Try it

I can’t get enough of this spot. A true gem. My go to is always the breakfast sandwich with guava spread and for my coffee I get El Pecado. A perfect pairing.

Cool cafe con un toque Latino (with a Latin touch). As a bilingual DJ in Miami, South Florida, Key Largo, Islamorada, and the Florida Keys, I appreciate the kind hospitality here (and the Latin twist lol) with a few exceptions.
Enjoyed the overall vibe but it was pretty crowded when I visited at lunch time, so wait times for a table and to get your order can be long. Another minus is that there’s no free wifi. It's hard to comprehend why a cafe would not offer this, especially since it's at a minimal investment since so many from the local businesses as well as other guests likely come here to work on their devices. They should definitely address this. Overall a pretty cool experience I'd recommend if you consider the above minuses. Parking can be difficult too. Didn't order food so I cant comment on that, except to say it LOOKS good and I enjoyed the hip Latin twist of the menu.

We were told we could not use our electronics here, which made it impossible in our case to dine in.
