My very first time at this location, and we had a great time. The atmosphere was pretty cool. The lighting was dark. I didn't care for that,but the food was very good, especially the chicken tortilla soup. Our waiter was cool, very attentive, and on point with our orders and drinks, I will definitely recommend this restaurant, and we will be going back..

Maaaaaaaaany different types of beer. Bartenders seem to aggregate in the same place so woe be on you if you sit somewhere other than that one spot, but that's a management problem rather than an employee issue.

On Tuesday, August 20th, we had the pleasure of dining at Yardhouse in Village of Merrick Park, and the experience was truly exceptional mostly due to our server, James P. From the moment we were seated, James greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that set the tone for the evening. His attention to detail was impeccable—every request was met promptly and with a gracious attitude.

What stood out the most was James' ability to anticipate our needs even before we voiced them. Water glasses were never empty, and he checked in often, making sure we had everything we needed. We had a minor issue with the kitchen mixing up some of the food orders, but James handled the situation flawlessly and like a true professional. It was clear that he genuinely cared about ensuring each guest had a great experience, and that level of service is rare to find.

James maintained a calm and friendly demeanor throughout, handling our requests and issues with ease. We were so impressed that we'll be asking for James every time we return. I left the restaurant feeling not only satisfied with the meal but also truly appreciated as a customer. James is a true asset to this restaurant and made our evening unforgettable. I highly recommend dining here and asking for James for an outstanding dining experience.
