Our server Gabriel was awesome, and the hostess was super friendly and helpful. We did the tasting menu; very fun experience! The bell pepper cocktail is superrrrrr delicious, I’d go back just to have it. The portions were on the smaller side but still very filling and tasty ♡. Had a great experience for our anniversary, the entire service throughout the night was wonderful.

Amazing food. Really well executed. Only item missing is a proper cocktail menu. Otherwise terrific and I’m a Flatiron food snob

An amazing value. For $75 you will get a tasting dinner starred Michelin level restaurant with wine pairing. Every dish was excellent and presented the tremendous ability of the young chef PABLO ZITZMANN.

Came on a Tuesday night. Cozy restaurant inside an office building. Beef tartare is amazing, very unique taste; the bread appetizer is also unique, love the baking style, also very Asian. Seabass is okay.

Truly one of the best meals I've ever had. Every single bite was delicious. Service was coursed perfectly, nothing was rushed nor took too long. This might be my favorite restaurant in Miami now. A true hidden gem!

Truly surprising flavor combinations. A culinary delight. Confusing to find (in the FIFA office building), but otherwise a sanctuary of sumptuous food and courteous service. Thank you, Maynor, for your kindness! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but do check out the flatbread, which was unexpected and unforgettable.

I went to Zitz Sum on a date with my girlfriend last night. I believe our waitress’s name was Michelle, and she was so wonderful. Special shout out to all the staff at this restaurant for being really amazing. We had the tasting menu and a lot of the courses were very good. The wontons in particular were amazing. I wish the portions were a bit bigger since the food is so good, but I understand a lot of it is for presentation which is really amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a really quiet and unique dinning experience in Coral Gables. Very good restaurant which is propelled by the excellent staff. Oh and the French Toast was a pretty excellent dessert.

If you dine in Miami, you know the difficulties there are when deciding on a place to eat. The many (many) options to choose from. Is it actually good, or is it just overhyped? Are the plates Instagram worthy, but not tastebud worthy? However, once you sift through these questions and the array of restaurants you can reserve a table at, you’ll start to find the gems. The places that do good food, good service, and good vibes. Zitz Sum is one of those places. Not surprising of course, given their bib gourmand status. But it’s another thing to actually try the plates that earned this recognition, which you totally should. To start things off, the ambience in the place was great and our waiter was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable about the menu, filled us in on what dishes are new/seasonal (check out my pic of the menu) and which are mainstays, and gave us his recommendations. Lucky for us, nearly everything we were thinking about ordering was similar to the plates he was ready to suggest. We got the bing bread, steak tartar, wahoo crudo, wonton in brodo, and charred cabbage. The bing bread was served hot and soft and the sweet Florida honey butter it came with was divine. The steak tartar was my favorite dish of the night and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. The beef was tender and seasoned well, and the ramen egg it sat in was perfectly chewy and salty. This is a steak tartar like you’ve never had before. The wahoo crudo was unique and I was hesitant at first about the thin banana slice its topped with (I’m not a fan of bananas), but I trusted the process and chef and all the flavors really came together and paired well with each other. The wonton in brodo was my second favorite dish of the night. The broth was flavorful and cozy, I was literally sipping it after all the wontons were eaten. And the wontons itself? Soft and packed with tasty chicken. Finally, the charred cabbage. Don’t sleep on this dish! It was more fulfilling and flavorful than you ever thought a cabbage could be, and the char on it gave it a nice punch of heat. At the end of our meal, we talked other Miami spots with our waiter, exchanged restaurant recommendations, and learned about Zitz Sums’ sister izakaya restaurant (called Dojo, which we will definitely be trying). Zitz Sum is subtle, yet glamorous. It makes you remember how special dining in Miami can (and should) be.

The food is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about our experience until the next day when realized in addition to the tip we paid the restaurant already added a 50 gratuity. No one mentioned this, even after I asked which slip I could add a top to (it’s pitch black in there).
When I found out I reached out to Zitz Sum via email and no one responded.

It’s without a doubt a super creative and delicious restaurant. Both the service and the food are spectacular, with a balanced and delicate fusion of ingredients. The place itself is calm and beautiful—truly a hidden gem in Miami with class and great taste.
You definitely need a reservation since it’s a small and popular spot.

Wow, just wow. The dishes so beautifully crafted, every single detail played beautifully with the next creating incredible harmony, dish after dish. I was here for my anniversary and it was the perfect choice. We couldn’t stop gushing over how good everything was. There was a subtlety to everything as well, nothing too loud or trying too hard, everything felt effortlessly natural. We ordered almost everything on the menu. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! ❤️

They should rename this place from “Zit sum” to “Skip sum.” This restaurant has been hyped to us so much, but I can say after dining and doing their nine course tasting menu with wine pairing. It is a scam. The food is very bland and the wine pairing they purposely choose the cheapest wine that doesn't even match the food. I’m talking from places I didn’t even know made wine. The dumpling was pure mush, 0 flavor. The rice is mostly beans which is not Asian in the slightest. Fish was soOoooo bland not even the “foam” sauce could save it. The scallop dish was inspired but unsuccessful (the banana was weird). The French toast dessert was just pure peanut butter flavor nothing else and was cold in the center and they paired it with a sake which made zero sense but again I guess it's cheap? The idea they have anything remotely Michelin shocks me to my core. One of the wine pairings was undrinkable, and I was very amazed by the fact that the staff just ignored the fact that I had a full glass of wine through most of the meal no one came to check and ask how we were feeling I think because they knew that wine was crap. Even my borderline alcoholic husband left that wine.
Also it’s in a random bank building??? And the chairs are patio chairs that are WAY too low for the table.

Not sure what is the hype about. Overall experience was okay, there was one fish dish that was pretty good but the rest of the food is pretty mediocre. I've had the worst and laziest scallop dish I've ever had in my life with banana and cucumber. Not a good combo and the presentation was just laughable, 20 dollars for a one scallop it's a bit too much. Also now I see pictures of other scallop dishes that people post and I think that the chef probably just got lazy by the end of the day and decided to serve whatever.. Shame
