Im leaving a 5 star review because i saw a 1 star review that was just false. Shannon spatz claimed this cafe was breaking social distancing recommendations. I personally know the family that owns the place and i also know how serious they are about this pandemic because they recently lost one of the owners, who was a very important part of their family, due to flu-like symptoms and respiratory issues. Shannon said it was on 03-21-2020 that she saw tables outside and that they weren't even two feet apart and even said they served food on real plates. I was there that day for the majority of the day as i normally am. I also spoke with the owners and on 03-21-2020 there was no stay at home order. Restaurants were still allowed inside seating. The order only took place on 03-28-2020. However because of dapple's fears they only allowed outside seating at a few tables exactly 6 feet apart and food served of styrofoam trays. She also expressed concers about how they operate based on everyday health and saftey, i know at least three health inspectors that actually eat at the cafe after inspection and even further proving they take every precaution, the health inspectors even train new recruits at D'apple cafe. Dont you think a small business, like this gem, thats been a part of this community for over a decade is struggling enough without ignorant reviews like this?

We are dealing with an international health pandemic, and here in FL, we've been ordered to eliminate all table service at restaurants. As a server, I'm out of work for at least 30 days. Today, 3/21/2020, this restaurant had tables set up outside, with servers delivering plates of food to customers. I could have understood if people ordered takeout, and then chose to eat outside of the restaurant, BUT these people had staff serving food on real plates, at tables that were at most 2 ft. apart. If you don't value safety under order of the governor, then I'd be scared to see how you deal with food/health safety on a regular day.

What a gem! The food was amazing! It was so refreshing to have a fresh turkey club and not some yucky slimey meat. The service was speedy and the waitress was very friendly. The decor was super cute and cozy and everything was very clean. Highly recommend!

So far my favorite Kava spot in Broward. Well decorated in a plaza with easy parking on east Oakland not too far from downtown Fort Lauderdale.. and in my opinion its Superior to the other places found in east fort lauderdale area. Better and older crowd . more relaxed setting .. better tasting options for your Kava and Kratom teas.

I ended up here for breakfast because my first choice was too crowded but I lucked out. I was seated quickly and the staff was very attentive. My breakfast of ham and eggs arrived quickly and was cooked perfectly. The scrambled eggs not wet and not dry - like the cook cared. Hash browns slightly crisp and tender on the inside and not oily. I opted for the english muffin and asked for it toasted crisp. It actually came to me toasted crisp! The only reason for a 4 instead of 5 is Coffee Mate creamer instead of milk or half and half. (Yes, I’m usually that critical) The prices are also extremely reasonable. Great job D’Apple. I’ll be back.

Nice experience overall. My breakfast was nice and well priced, although I will say a little bland. Service was consistent throughout my entire stay providing great hospitality. I welcome anyone in the area to stop by.

Went on a Sunday morning and seating was almost immediate. Coffee was really good, a full pot was left in our table. Food was tasty, service was very good (Meryna?). I had blueberry pancakes and they were fluffy with lots of fruit. Three people with a table full of food cost $45 for breakfast, not bad.
