I think this is an A- hibachi restaurant. I grew up in Coral Springs and came for my birthday dinner, but I've had better hibachi food in chain restaurants. Definitely appreciate the atmosphere though. Our chef was wonderful. I do agree with another recent reviewer that the fried rice is phenomenal, but then the yum-yum sauce tastes nothing like it's supposed to. Izumo Japanese Restaurant in Coral Springs exceeded our expectations for my daughter's birthday celebration. With a party of six, our reservation was honored promptly. The attentive server went above and beyond, surprising my daughter with a birthday dessert topped with a candle. The chef skillfully ensured all orders and dietary preferences were met. A fantastic dinner experience; five stars all the way!

Saito the chef was really great and so were with other folks that work there. The food was really fresh and delicious, the place was authentic and cute. We'll eat here instead of Benihana from now on.
