“We went there for the first time today and I was very impressed with the quality of food. Have been to many of theses types of restaurants in America that say they have authentic food, but the quality is not there. I was impressed after spending many years in Asia in Beijing, by the quality of the food. They are very busy if you have a large party need to come early, on Sunday. The weight staff is very busy, but the owner was there and went out of his way to make sure everyone was taken care of service was exceptional. Will definitely be coming back. My wife took home enough food and extras for two meals because she loved the food so much.“
“We found a review of this place on Facebook and decided to try since we were going to be in the area. We were immediately greeted by a very sweet woman who was so kind and helpful. The food we ordered came out very quickly by the cutest table serving robot. Everything was AMAZING!!!!! Literally every single thing we ordered was incredible. We will definitely be back “
“Posting an updated review, because after nearly a year, King Chef has become my go-to local place for American-style Chinese takeout. Every single time I order, the food is prepared consistently well, portions are huge, and the price is outstanding. One of their dinner combos literally has enough food to feed me for like 3-4 meals, and only costs around $12. That's insane!! My only critique of the food is that things here are not spicy, even if they're indicated as such. Depending on your tastes though, that may be a positive! Point on spice aside, the flavor is on point and I always enjoy my food from this restaurant. If you're unsure of what to order given the big menu, here's a few dishes that are always standouts: - Honey Garlic Wings - Fried Rice (pork or shrimp especially) - Sesame Chicken - General Tso's Chicken - Wonton Soup - Hot & Sour Soup - Szechuan Pork or Chicken - Roast Pork with Chinese Vegetables I am honestly baffled by the recent negative reviews, and I seriously hope you don't let them discourage you from giving this place a try. They're a great family-run place, and over the last year, I've only seen improvements in the flavors of the food. If you want a tasty meal at a great price, this is your place!“
“Straight forward dim sum spot where the kitchen is open from 11AM-2PM / 3PM. Frozen varieties of dim sum is available as well as a short Cantonese menu on the wall. Parking is ample as this is located in a fairly quiet plaza. You are able to chose from a set lunch menu which will run you $8.50- that would include shumai & shrimp dumpling, your choice pork or shrimp in rice paste, your choice of pork, fish, or thousand egg congee, and a dessert bun. My own negative critique is there is absolutely no deviating from the set lunch. I requested for no shumai because I don't eat that particular meat but was told "throw it away if you want to but it comes with the lunch set". I mean I'm not mad because it's in the name "set menu" lol. There is also a great variety of a la carte dumplings that are pretty cheap so you can pile on an order. I got the jade duck dumplings (tinted a soothing green, stuffed w simple duck lightly seasoned w soy) and chicken buns. The chicken bun is pretty sweet which I wasn't expecting. The STAR of my order however was the chicken feet. So incredibly tender, gelatinous pieces cooked in a black bean sauce with bell pepper pieces. It is also on the sweeter side but I'm looking forward to ordering this again. Order took 20mins so if you're in a hurry don't hesitate to call in the order. There is no indoor seating however, there are benches on the patio for you to enjoy the dim sum right away.“
