I’ve always enjoyed eating at La Marsa. I noticed the recent increase in price but thought the food was worthwhile. Unfortunately, I’m disappointed with my recent takeout order, chicken Shawarma sandwich. The sandwich has nearly doubled in price, but I found it was not nearly as full as it usually is. While I love some crispy bits, the chicken was dry and almost appeared dehydrated. I couldn’t believe the whole sandwich only had 2 pickles! I can understand price increases in this economy but please be considerate of your patrons.

The food is over the top good and you end up with leftovers for days. The non alcoholic mango honey drink is delicious. BYOB

Tried this restaurant for the first time today for lunch. Also, this was the first time eating Mediterranean food. My server was not friendly, pleasant or helpful. In fact he developed an attitude. Actually, I certainly did not feel welcome. I did inform him that it was my first time there. I love Greek food and my server informed me that Mediterranean food was much different. I was there so I wanted to try the food. There are definitely more lunch options on the Internet than what I was given. I don't know if there is a separate menu for Lunch Specials or just the selection on the back page of the menu. The restaurant only had customers at one other table, so it was pretty empty. My server was not helpful knowing this was my first time . The way I was treated, I guess you need to be MiddleEastern to feel welcome. Will never again come to this restaurant. There are many more restaurants in the area where I do feel welcome. This is not one of them.

I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We arrived around 8:30 PM and ordered two drinks along with two Arabic coffees. The first thing the waiter told us was that the drinks had to be consumed outside. We understood and had no issue with that, but unfortunately the experience only got worse from there.

When the Arabic coffee arrived, it was served in large foam cups with barely 2 ounces of coffee inside each one. Anyone familiar with Arabic coffee knows it should be served properly in traditional small cups, not oversized foam cups that ruin both the taste and the experience. On top of that, the coffee itself was not prepared correctly and was difficult to drink. Charging $4 for each tiny serving made it even more disappointing.

The other two drinks were just as bad. The menu described them as being made with fruit, honey, and milk, but what we received tasted like colored water with sugar. There was no real flavor, freshness, or quality at all. Each drink cost $9, yet the cups were only filled about one-third of the way.

Overall, the quality, presentation, and value were far below expectations. The drinks felt rushed, cheaply made, and completely overpriced. I usually try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but this experience left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I hope the restaurant improves both its preparation and customer experience because right now it does not match the prices they charge.

So the place is good service is amazing ambiance is nice but food is average and expensive.

Possibly the best lamb chops I've ever had.. Wait staff is always on point

First time visiting La Marsa, and we were more than satisfied! From the moment we got there, the service was great and the food even better. We will be back soon. Portions were decent and the flavor insanely good. Highly recommend this place.

This is my second time at La Marsa and each time didn’t disappoint us at all. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. We loved the decor of the store and the middle eastern music. Afifa was amazing. She came and asked if we were good with everything and made us feel very invited. We honestly felt like we were dining in with family. We stayed longer and had coffee after dinner and didn’t feel rushed at all. Our waitress was really nice and made sure we got everything we wanted and need. The food was very fresh and delicious. We had the meal for 4 and it was just the right amount. The lamb chops were so yummy! The chicken was juicy and the kabab was seasoned right!! My favorite part is the fresh mini pita bread that they bring with the garlic dip. Love, love love it! Go to La Marsa!!

I visited yesterday for Easter Sunday and had lunch with my kids and my mom. As a Haitian, I truly appreciated the food—it was absolutely delicious and full of flavor.

The service was excellent, and the manager was incredibly kind and welcoming. She took the time to answer all my questions about the food and its origins with great patience and care.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!
