See my comments. Restaurant was nearly empty, food portions greatly smaller. Shrimp with Lobster sauce watery, only 8 shrimp and few veg for $20.00 . Bowls of rice smaller.

我喜欢这家正宗的中餐馆!它非常美味,我推荐大家去 Mainland China Bistro 尝尝他们的食物。那里有很棒的员工,他们提供的服务和食物都很棒! I love this authentic Chinese restaurant! It’s very delicious and I would recommend for anyone to go try the food at Mainland China Bistro. They have great workers there, and they provided amazing service and excellent food.

I recently ordered carryout from Mainland China Bistro, a Chinese restaurant in Coral Springs, FL, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The ambiance of the place was inviting, even though I was just picking up my order. The Mongolian beef was a standout—flavorful and incredibly tender. The chicken and shrimp lo mein also impressed, with a nice balance of flavors, and the steamed dumplings were simply delicious.

Yong, who helped me with my order, was very nice and even recommended some other dishes to try, which I appreciated. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and this time I plan to dine in to fully enjoy the ambiance and try more of their recommended dishes.

After giving this restaurant a couple of tries, we have decided not to return. Unfortunately, this might be the worst Szechuan dining experience we’ve had in North America. We sampled many of their well-known dishes, but none stood out or impressed us.

The flavors and quality of the dishes were lacking. The food seemed to cater more to American tastes rather than offering authentic Szechuan flavors. The meat quality was poor, especially in the beef dishes, which were overcooked and heavily coated in corn starch. The fish was just average and mainly drowned in chili oil that lacked any real spice.

Even the vegetable dishes were merely average, failing to offer any memorable taste.

TL;DR: Save yourself the trip and explore other options in the Hollywood/North Miami Beach area for a more authentic and satisfying Chinese/Szechuan food experience.

The dumpling sauce was so uniquely delicate and savory. Tasted a bit like wine - HIGHLY agreeable to the taste buds followed by a dish with fried chicken and chili's and black peppercorn- it's not for the faint of heart! The black peppercorns will numb your whole mouth if you're not wary of them! What an awesome food adventure and a BEAUTIFUL restaurant! Definitely bring a group, portions are big like traditional Chinese (family style).

Mainland China Bistro remains a standout in Broward County, firmly holding its reputation as the best Chinese restaurant in the area, and arguably one of the best in all of South Florida. The authenticity and quality of their Sichuan cuisine continue to impress, just as they did when the restaurant first opened.

The food here is consistently high-quality and delicious. A few years ago, they added a dumpling menu, and in 2023, they incorporated a Tiger Sugar boba tea franchise, which is a delightful addition for bubble tea lovers.

The pandemic was particularly hard on the restaurant, leading to minimal staffing, but they have rebounded impressively with a new front-of-house crew. However, service can still be an issue. Language barriers with some servers can make communication challenging, but becoming a regular helps alleviate this problem, making ordering and interaction smoother over time.

The incredible value of their lunch menu also cannot be overstated. For about $10 to $13 per person, you get a satisfying meal that includes soup. It's an excellent deal that keeps me coming back regularly and includes items like their incredibly spicy Mapo Tofu which is arguably the best one in SoFL.

If you’re looking for authentic and flavorful Chinese cuisine, Mainland China Bistro is still the place to go in Broward County. Just be prepared for some potential service challenges, and you might find that patience and regular visits make for a better experience.

We were greeted and taken to our table almost immediately. Our server Queenie was awesome ?very pleasant and service with a smile. The food was great! We had barbecue pork served on a sizzling platter, Yang Chow fried rice and Egg Plant with garlic sauce. The food was delicious and definitely the next time I'm in town I will dine here again.

I ordered online through their website and paid online $100+ total. When I picked up my order the receipt was $12 less than what I paid for. So I questioned it. The girl in the front told me since I ordered online it took me through door dash website and charged me more. And I argued with them that I didn’t go through door dash, but through their mainland bistro website. She (Tina) then told me the website is down. She stated that she cannot answer me and that I had to wait for the manager Tiffany who comes later in the afternoon. Pay attention to the price on the website and the actual receipt when you pick up your order. They up charge the price online. So wrong to do this to people. The food is not even great. The amount of serving is also small even though I paid the dinner price. I would never order from this place again.
