Idk why but this place has seriously declined. I just bought $100 worth of food that is either too salty, tasteless, dried up and you can tell it’s old. The best thing out of 8 times bought are the steamed pork buns. SMH please seek to do better. People work very hard for their money and when we’re able to treat ourselves to something nice to eat we should be able to eat it and fully enjoy it.
The bbq ribs and the sliced pork with garlic stems.

I have been hearing many great things about this restaurant and finally decided to try it. It was a Saturday night couple weeks ago about 7:30 my wife and I walked in and to the left is a kiosk where a younger man in his 20’s was on the phone and I can hear him taking an order. He has his head turned away to the left not acknowledging us at all. No problem he’s busy ! Then a few minutes later still on the phone and hasn’t acknowledged us and a lady walks over to grab something from where he is and thought she would at least acknowledge us and as she walked away I said miss hello and she went back into the kitchen. The man is still on the phone and I looked out into the restaurant and saw a party of 8 and only one other table of 4 and saw a waitress and waved to her and said Miss is there anyone here to help us and she walked away as if it wasn’t her thing to acknowledge a person at the front. The a man is still on the phone and avoiding us no nothing of I’ll be with you in a minute or even a gesture to let me know he see us. I’d hate to see what happens on a busy night. At this point I’m very mad and thinking I don’t care if the food is good or not I can spend my money anywhere and if you can’t even take a second to say I’ll be right with you or even someone at the front to seat guests and if the guy on the phone is the only one then the hospitality is garbage and you’d think some kind of manager would be there to make sure these things don’t happen. I can still here him talking about items on the menu and by this time it’s over 4 minutes standing right in front of him and never making eye contact or even a hand single one second I’ll be with you. So at this point I’m done and raised my voice very loud does anyone work here and both tables of people turned around and still nothing from anyone working there or from the guy on the phone. So I walked out with my wife and won’t ever go back. The owners of these restaurants get to comfortable letting people run these restaurants having employees that don’t care and know the first thing about customer service and hinder these restaurants livelihood. You only get one chance to make a first impression. So I went to the melting pot to eat and there was a wedding party of at least 30 people waiting inside and we got to talking about restaurants and they had not been to mainland and shared my experience and after that they had all said they had been wanting to try it but now the won’t and going to let there families and neighbors know about the service ! It’s funny how word of mouth is more powerful than people think. Had I had a good experience over 50 to 60 people would have waned to try the restaurant and many more by word of mouth. I wouldn’t have left any stars but Google won’t let you post without one as sometimes restaurants ruins the experience before you even sit at a table.
This food is delicious !!

Everyone enjoyed their meal. Would have like a little more veg in my spring role and didn’t really care for the amount of whole peanuts in the kung pow chicken. But all in all it was a good meal.

First time ordering from this restaurant. Ordered the Peking Duck for p/u. My firsr impression, from the parking gave confidence that thus was no typucal strip center Chinese restaurant. Beautiful entrance. The interior was quite nice too. I was immediately greeted by May who had my order waiting. I told her we'd been desperate for a good Chinese restaurant. Their extensive menu offers just about any Chinese dish you ever had. My Duck would be a true test. I told her I would bring my whole family. May was proud to offer a quick tour of the Party Room. It was absolutely wonderful. Once home a short reheating to crusp the skin and we had delicious Peking Duck with all the acoutraments. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because pancakes weren't scratch made, otherwise I believe I have found a Unicorn!

This is a true old classic Chinese food restaurant and not those fancy fusion restaurants you find everywhere that try to please everyone and fail. We had half a crispy duck, chow fun, eggplant, dumplings and some pork and onions. All of it was great! The service by Queenie was so friendly and attentive. This is now my favorite place for Chinese food in south florida.

People used to talk about Silver Pond Chinese restaurant having the best food. I think the food here is far superior, including the best. Peking Duck I have ever had. The waitress was very pleasant and very professional.
