Thank you for your response, Jinny. I appreciate you taking the time to reply, but I don’t believe my review was about my expectations not being met—it was about the level of service and hospitality your restaurant provided. Customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately, that was the area that was most lacking during our visit.

I would have expected a response that acknowledged how your restaurant fell short of the standard you want your guests to experience, along with some effort to regain our trust, such as an invitation to return or a discounted future meal. Without that, there isn’t much reason for us to consider giving the restaurant another opportunity.

While the food was good, service is just as important as the meal itself. Based on our experience and your response, we won’t be returning. I do hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

The food was the highlight of our visit—everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and was prepared well. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. There was a strong foul odor, similar to mold or a dirty rag, as soon as we walked through the entrance.

The host was not very welcoming, the manager never checked on guests and seemed focused solely on Uber orders and stayed in back area in kitchen, and our server, while she was pleasant, spoke so softly that it was difficult to hear her throughout the meal.

The atmosphere also felt unusually quiet and our server and other front house staff spoke with library voices and lacked the energy you’d expect from a restaurant, making the experience feel less inviting.

FANTASTIC SPRING ROLLS! I ORDERED A DUCK SOUP HOWEVER AND THE PACKAGING IN THE BAG HAD MOST OF THE SOUP IN IT. THAT'S WHY THEY GET A LOW RATING ALL IN ALL EVERYTHING TASTED GOOD THOUGH.

Food didn’t taste like Thai Food it was bland to be honest. I will not eat there again, I’m sure the chef is not the same person. Staff was nice.

The food was great. Would totally recommend. My cousin and I are both teenagers and places assume we don’t tip so they ignore us but this place did the exact opposite. The second we sat down water came, the food was quick but was delicious. Overall amazing place.🤩

Moon Thai is delicious! My wife and I come to Moon Thai quite often and always have a great experience. We order the Pad Thai and the Magic Moon Roll, and it’s always amazing! The reason I feel the need to leave a review this time is that the hostess was extremely unprofessional (we haven’t seen this hostess before, maybe she is new).When we walked in, she was on her phone and I had to get her attention. She looked extremely annoyed to help us to our table. Besides that, Moon Thai is great and we will continue to come back!

Went with my kids last night and honestly we won't be back. The drinks were not good at all, and sushi was tasting very weird. This place used to be good but not anymore.

Our family has been coming here for the last 6 years. Multiple catering orders per year as well, not just dining in. I understand that times are tough but instead of driving more customers in, they drive them out. Charging for extra sauce that used to come with the rolls like it’s a fastfood joint and not offering a kids menu anymore is bad business in my opinion…

ABSOLUTE WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE IN THE LONGEST TIME. SECOND TIME WE COME HERE AND FIND HAIR IN OUR FOOD. We chose this restaurant because we had friends from out of town and we wanted to take them somewhere different, What a mistake! My mom found hair in her food, and when she complained, she was told by the manager that nobody in the kitchen has Hair that color! At the very end when we tried to speak to the manager about what had happened and how disappointed we were in the service, The manager began to insult us, Called us names And refused to even apologize for what happened!
On top of which They criticized us for ordering bottled water, Saying “ You need fancy water you don’t want our filtered water?”
There are no words to express how absolutely disgusted I am by the service and the way we were treated. The food wasn’t so bad, Nothing out of this world, But it took forever to arrive and we needed to remind them what we ordered several times. But the treatment was the cherry on top. Not only would we not recommend but we would highly discourage anyone from coming to eat here

The egg fried rice was delicious. A different kind of egg friend rice. We had the whole snapper deep fried to crisp and marinated in Thai chili sauce. Outside sitting. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking.

Moon Thai Japanese never disappoints! The Pad Thai was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked noodles, rich flavor, and just the right balance of sweet and savory. You can tell they use fresh ingredients because every bite tasted authentic and delicious.
The chicken dumplings were just as impressive — tender, flavorful, and perfectly steamed with a great dipping sauce. Honestly some of the best I’ve had.
Great atmosphere, friendly service, and consistently top-quality food. If you’re looking for incredible Thai and Japanese cuisine, Moon Thai Japanese is definitely the spot. Highly recommend! 🍜🥟

Food was tasty, was just appalled at the amount of aburi salmon for $12 given in such a large container and no rice. I'm not one to normally leave a review but this was laughable.
