Osaka Hibachi & Sushi

This is one of the absolute worse meals I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t feed this to a starving dog. The clear soup was beef broth with mushrooms and tasted like it came out of a can. The general tso chicken was okay but had a weird sauce on it so can’t recommend it. The steak had no flavor and rice was dry. The shrimp tempura sushi was awful and drenched in sauce. I asked for no avocado as I’m allergic and instead cucumber and got avocado so couldn’t eat it. The slices were huge and no way they could even fit in your mouth. The crab ragoons were triangles so hard to dip in sauce. Overall, a HUGE waste of $115. Do yourself a favor and save your time and money.
This was my first and will be my last visit. Osaka in Tallahassee should be ashamed to let this restaurant bear the same name. Go to BWs Grill or Myra Jeans, or even zaxbys before you waste money on this restaurant that obviously doesn’t care or listen to their customers. Huge disappointment.

Dude at the cashier station yelled at me because I was unable to understand what he was trying to communicate with me. Extremely rude. Extremely unprofessional.

Not the Hibachi experience we're use to. Ordered steak ( medium pink center ) was well-done, tuff and chewy, also not seasoned well. Wife's scallops lacked flavor and also over cooked. Not the most friendly atmosphere. Very disappointed with $72 meal.

I’m surprised at a few negative reviews for this place because it’s fantastic. Also, I’ve noticed those reviews said that meat was bad, guys go vegan. Everything I’ve ordered was delicious. I tried hibachi veggies, teriyaki veggies, salmon and all soups. Great, great prices. Love the location and atmosphere too. My favorite place to stop by if I don’t have time to cook. I just moved to the area and already a regular at this restaurant. Low key awesome all around.

I ate at your establishment yesterday May, 25th of 2024 and now a day later I have food poisoning that started around 2 this morning on May, 26th. I had the spicy salmon and krab roll. I’m not a very happy person right now and I can definitely tell you I’ll never be eating here again.

Service is always fast and efficient. Food is delicious. I always either get the vegetable hibachi which I really enjoy or their vegetarian sushi options. My husband either gets the shrimp hibachi or their special rolls (sweetheart roll, etc). My son always gets a cucumber and avocado roll. Really enjoy their house salad too.

We enjoy everything about this place. Only gotten it to go but food is always hot and delicious. Order has never been wrong. Love supporting local!
