The food was great!! I had the fried catfish and it was some of the best I've ever had!! When we got there it wasn't busy but the service was still slow. Asked for a sweet tea and was given a water. Not really that big of deal but what was a issue in my personal opinion is that our waitress. She only checked on us once after she brought the drinks out.
Porter Island Seafood is a fantastic choice for anyone craving quality seafood. I recently dined there with a larger group and was really pleased with the experience. One of the standout items for me was the hush puppies. They’re on the sweeter side, which I personally love – they were just perfect!

The food and service were outstanding. I ordered the crabcakes and wasn't a fan, but our server was very nice about taking them back and replacing them with grilled shrimp. My husband loved the cheese sticks and prime rib sandwich special!
