The Lodge is an often overlooked dining experience in Wakulla, right at Wakulla Springs.

We almost always get steaks (I get the ribeye and my wife prefers the filet) with loaded baked potato and often a caeser salad. You can add 6 fried shrimp to your steak.....just saying. The pecan pie is great!

There is a nice cocktail/beer/wine list as well.

The dining room has a chill vibe and the adjacent main hall/fireplace/seating area has an old southern charm.

After dinner, if you skip dessert, go next door to the parlor and get a ince cream, sundae, or fizz.

You can walk down and swim or just check out the water.

Also, if you turn in your park entrance receipt, they take it off the bill.

I was really pleased with the food and service. I got the flounder tacos, a salad, and flourless torte. It was all excellent!
And it is also a nice gesture that they give you back your park entrance fee when you eat here.

A beautiful old style dining room at Wakulla Lodge. The dining staff both nights were very friendly. Great service by both.
The food was fresh and delicious.
Easy to talk as the old fashioned music plays in the background.

I purchased 3 tickets for the Boat and Brunch for 9/21 and today (9/18) I received an email that it was cancelled due to low ticket sales. What a bunch of crap!!! The site for the tickets said no cancellations for us, but I guess you can cancel. I intend to let everyone I know how unreliable this place is.

Stayed a few days at the lodge, love the restaurant and staff, Zane and Tanner are a step above as far as service. Good was great and fast, staff very attentive to the environment, stayed in the shadows and noticed the need before there was one. Staff was also very informative of the area and provide great feedback on places to enjoy during our stay. The Lodge will be a place I plan on visiting again in the future.

We tried to eat there. The restaurant was less than half full... Meaning they had lots of empty tables. They told us the wait was an hour and fifteen minutes because we didn't have a reservation. We had a party of six. They must be making good money off of empty tables. It kind of sucked because we had to pay twelve dollars just to get into the park..... Six dollars a car.... All so we could go to a restaurant with empty tables and not eat.

Needless to say, we did not eat there. And we went down the street. The restaurant we ended up going to had empty tables, and they sat us right away.

Waited for a very long time at the main dining entrance without acknowledgment. When we were being walked to our table, there was food everywhere on the floor. Once seated it took a very long while to be greeted and served, even though the waitress was nice. We ordered fried pickles and crab cakes as an appetizer, which were okay in taste. My s/o ordered the prime rib special and said it tasted horrible. I ordered the panhandle chicken which tasted really eggy. There were unfortunately tons of flies inside, And while eating you could be overwhelmed by the smell of cleaning chemicals because the buser was spraying the chemicals directly onto the tables and you chose see it misting in the air instead of on the towel then wiping the table.

Bad gumbo , I have been going to Wakulla Springs Lodge Restaurant for years and have really enjoyed the gumbo. They have changed the gumbo recipe and the gumbo has gone from very good to below mediocre, No flavor, rice with a few shrimp, a piece of small sausage and flavored water, yuck

We had 4:30 reservation (Friday). We were the only customer's and waited at the entrance of dining room for quite a few minutes. The first employee walked by, without acknowledging us, leaving us to wonder if the facility was open for business. Finally, upon being seated, we were handed dirty menu's splattered with remnants of food from a previous meal. After wiping clean the knife/fork, we began swatting flies attracted, probably, by the food on the floor. We ordered an appetizer, crab-cake, and, after finishing it, were happy we hadn't ordered the crab-cake entre. The entre's were fillet mignon and shrimp which were very good! We will definitely be back to Wakulla Springs for the Wakulla Springs BUT NOT FOR DINNER.
