The last time I ate here was when I graduated from university, about 30 years ago. The restaurant menu had a very different feel than it did back then. However, I was able to eat while remembering my uncle and aunt who came with me 30 years ago. The scenery I could see was the same as before, and I was able to remember the feelings I had when I was younger, and I was able to spend a valuable time there. My filet mignon steak and mashed potatoes were very tasty.

The Shrimp and grits were very soupy and only like a 1/2 cup of grits. Our other guest had the cheese grits as a side and got a huge bowel and they were thick and tasty. This is the second time this happened and the other dishes were just not like they used to be. We have been going there for 40

We had a reservation for 4 pm, we arrived on time and were ignored for about 5 minutes before being greeted and seated only to continue to be ignored for another 10 minutes till we finally walked out. They had 2 other tables that were dining so they were not busy. Weirdest experience and we'll never go

The food and service is good. Nice selection of craft beers. Last night I had grilled shrimp, collard greens and pecan pie. All were good. I recommend this restaurant.

It's pretty pricey. The room is beautiful but the windows need cleaning. There were only two servers so the service was very slow.

My mom and I both ordered the brisket sandwich with coleslaw and a side of navy bean soup. The brisket was so fatty and burnt, disgusting. The navy bean soup was good, hut hard to measure that up. The waitress was good and we loved staying at the lodge and and loved the antique furniture and painted wood beams.

It took forever and a day to get our food. Half of it wasn't ordered so we had to wait more. Some food came so late that a part of our party left. Our server was friendly but barely checked on us and spent most time flirting with the kitchen staff. While most liked their food, I found mine to be lacking in balance as my dish was lacking a starch and a protein. I would pack my own lunch next time. Also, it was freezing inside as the room was kept to 60F for some reason.

Came for lunch, lovely food and the people serving were very kind. Food came out without too much of a wait, good presentation.

You have to pay to get into the park but they take it off of your meal if you give them your receipt.

A place to eat but horrible for Thangsgiving. For 4 people including the 20% gratuity (included) $254. Hostess was in way over her head. Food was cold and waitress brought us water 30 minutes after we sat down. That's All she did except get her check at end of meal. Do not recommend!.

The restaurant and lodge are charming and reminiscent of an old world style. We went for a boat tour, which was informative and lovely, as well as dinner. Our server was decidedly unfriendly and not so helpful. The dinners were nice, with an average fare and average flavor.
