I've been visiting Bamboo with my family for over a year, and overall, the food has been consistently great, and most of the staff has been wonderful. However, one roller in particular, Derek, has been consistently unfriendly. At first, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he might be having good and bad days. We love Bamboo but not sure what's going on lately. They keep forgetting basic stuff like Soy Sauce with our To go order. We even called and the employee said that they dont give soy sauce anymore unless you get sushi, but we ordered sushi and the employee that took the order even asked if we wanted it.
The food was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. However, my meal arrived 20 minutes before my husband's, and I'm not the type to eat while others are still waiting. This made the experience feel a bit unorganized. I want to give a special shoutout to a staff member who was working on 06/21/25, we would not have gotten our beers if it wasn’t for her. I wish I got her name but she was exceptional, even though it seemed like she was managing multiple tasks at once....
