BubbaQue's BBQ - Crystal River

We used bubbaques to cater for our baby shower, 6lbs of brisket and 6lbs of chicken. Steve ensured over the phone I had calculated enough meat to feed our guests. We also got fresh bakery buns from them which I’m glad we did (and they were cheaper than the grocery store). I went for the brisket and it was so delicious, I’ve always loved bubbaques for their redneck nachos! I’m so glad we used them, the order was on time and the food was perfect.

They were good the first couple of times, bit pricey. Never any special they charge 3.5 if you use your credit card and charge 2.11 if you ask for another plate Not impressed .. and didn't even use it they said they took it off the bill. THEY DID NOT !!

Greg was amazing. Attentive and fast. The food was hot and delicious everything was fresh. Salad bar was wonderful also. So many choices in so many great prices. Will definitely go back . My husband and I both were very impressed. Thank you

Horrible service. NOT KID FRIENDLY!!

The meats were good definitely house made, but the sides could use a lot of improvement. For a barbecue place I would expect them to have really good mac & cheese, but was very disappointed in the outcome. Other than that the rest of the food was fantastic and will definitely go back there. Hopefully they change out their mac & cheese to something less watery and more tasty maybe something house made from scratch.

Owner treats patrons with the utmost disrespect.

We have been to this restaurant for a few years now and we love the food. Every-time we are in the area we stop. It was my husband’s birthday weekend so he wanted to come here to eat. Never had a bad experience there ever till yesterday. We went through our order and my daughter who is a picky eater so when we come to eat we always get adult meal with the salad bar. Since they don’t have a cheeseburger on the kids menu. So yesterday my husband asked for the adult cheeseburger meal with salad bar. The only thing she was going to eat is half of cheeseburger off his menu. She is a small kid. As the waitress gets to takin her order he explains that she is getting half of cheeseburger. She refuses to it that way and says has to charge us for two meals cause we couldn’t eat that way. Now we have done this every-time since we came there with no issues. I explained for kindly that she is a very picky eater and does not eat anything other than the cheeseburger he is eating the sides of the order and the salad bar. She was very rude and says we need a minute to figure something out cause she isn’t gonna allow us to order that way. Smacks her order tablet on her hip and walks away with a nasty attitude as she is mumbling things under her breath. I can understand to a degree but we never this issue before nor had a server at this place be this rude over an issue that was not that big of a deal. We decided to leave due to the way it was handled and how embarrassed we were to have all these families around us being treated over sharing a cheeseburger. Like seriously? I am so disappointed cause we love to come eat here as a family but after that I don’t feel like it is worth coming in again due to this experience. The food is fabulous do not get me wrong but that waitress over ruled on our experience.

We tried to place a Togo order online, but gave us an error so we ended up calling to place the order . Kids meal said it came with 3 chicken fingers , a side and a drink . For husbands sandwich online is said sauce was free. So we wanted to try 3 of them . We also ordered corn nuggets bc they were highly recommended by the bar tender at sweet citrus . Well we go pickup meal , kids dinner was short a tender , they forgot our drinks , and they rang in corn dogs instead of corn nuggets . Plus we were charged for bbq sauces when website said free. Called manager to let them know about website not working for togos and not accurate information . And that we were missing both drinks and corn nuggets were rang in incorrectly. Server didn’t repeat back the order or let us know bbq sauce and ranch are extra$. He did not offer a refund for the app or the teas we didn’t receive….. , Food was all great except the brisket was so dry he couldn’t even eat it with all the extra sauces . Plus no tea . we’re camping . We ordered teas for a reason . Campers don’t have ice machines …. Overall just a bad experience, refunding what we didn’t get would have been good enough for us to recommend to others and come back on the next camping trip ….. We most likely will not come back. But if you choose to try this place ….. go inside and eat , don’t order Togo .
