Excellent food and top rate service. The best clam chowder EVER! Great Angus burger. 3 choices of fish and chips. I did the cod. It was perfectly crunchy batter and flaky fish. Great onion rings. The coconut shrimp was outstanding. Homemade desserts. Too many choices. We will come back for the lobster rolls and crab. Service was fast, professional, friendly and answered every question with enthusiasm. Great inside and outside patio seating. Great vibe. Great fresh food. We will absolutely bring our friends and family back to this gem. Wonderful place.

Who air for a birthday celebration. Love the atmosphere with fish and lobster everywhere. We had boom boom shrimp and cater right for starters and they were excellent. My youngest an order of cater bites from himself, but they were more chewy than the first batch. Me and my other son shared a platter of coconut shrimp, cod, and crab bites, which was all delicious. We have a few other plates and everybody raved about the food. The server didn’t visit our table very much and we had to ask so I can for refills on our drinks. We had a party of seven and they included a 20% tip, maybe that’s why she didn’t visit very much. Would visit again for the food though.

*Edit* In response to the reply... There is no way the bowl was 12oz and if a business feels okay telling a paying customer to not return, that says a lot. This is why locals choose chains over the mom and pops in citrus county. Food is overpriced, poor quality, and the owners suck. Sad, but true. I rate honestly. 17/61 reviews are one star. Most people rate for poor experiences only. Sad, but true. If that offends, oh well.

Ordered a $9 bowl of clam chowder and a side of hush puppies... The soup came out in what would be a cup everywhere else. There was barely anything in it. While it tasted okay, the hush puppies were flavorless and when we left I had a severe stomach ache. Not sure if it was the soup or the amount of grease on the hush puppies, but we won't be returning.

Service was okay, ticket times were long for lunch time. Pretty sad because two years ago, this place was good.

So I'm updating a review that I wrote last night after eating at Dan's clam Stand for the first time. I appreciate the fact that the owner got back so promptly. But please don't inform me that you know that the clams were sent back Top portion of the clams were hot. bottom portion of the clams cold and no I didn't send back the order of the Hush$3.25 Puppies, which I believe there were 6 of those. They were called tasteless and I saw no point in it. I guess what I'm trying to emphasize is when the waitress comes back to collect the money for the meal and sees that the entire or pretty Much the entire meal for the second person has not been eaten. Maybe a small gesture as to say We're sorry this happened. Let us replace your meal.That costs $8.99 On your next visit. So please note. I was not asking you to Refund the cost of the $70.00 lobster The entire meal, including tip, was over a $135.00. So I think as a customer I did my part.
Your waitress was tipped very well. I just wanted to make sure your customers knew that I wasn't asking for anything more than Missly credit for$8.99 I'm not saying the customer is always right. I'm just saying, think about what you write.

Pretty good clams but quite pricey for a bar.

Used to go to their old location and it was always awesome. That closed down and started going to their other location, food was very good. In the last few couple of years have attempted to go there for dinner but was very busy. Now has new ownership and I thought I’d get a Clam Strips to go order, got home and was very disappointed. Clams strips were just okay, the hush puppies were grease saturated, and I mean grease saturated, and the coleslaw was like dry toast.
I know places have bad nights, but I don’t know if I’d chance it again. Maybe, I’ll really have to think about it.
This is my opinion.

The service was good . The staff in general was great. We got fried seafood baskets... The battery was still wet inside all of it and i do not like that. Portions were great, for the cost...

We enjoyed the clams and the Po Boys. Our server, Dustin, was great. He's pleasant, polite and very helpful. I can see why this place is a favorite. Check it out.

This was a favorite place to eat growing up. I went last night and was sorely disappointed. The server was good. Food was mediocre at best. We ordered the admiral platter with five options. We did not receive the Gator bites we ordered. Instead there was some type of fish on the plate. All the items tasted the same and you couldn't tell the difference between what was what. We ordered a 1lb lobster. It was chewy. That was unfortunate. We didn't make any complaints, so I don't know how they would have handled it. We just won't be back.

Perfect meal!!! Food, portions, server, all perfect! We are originally from New England so the menu caught our eye. It did not disappoint!

This place is absolutely amazing . We had an 80th birthday lunch here today . Those ladies were amazing we had around 30 people there and they had us covered . The food , OMG it was the best ! Hot fresh delicious. If you are ever in Crystal River don’t pass this place up !
