I absolutely love KFC but Sunday I witnessed the worst customer service I believe I have ever saw. A customer came up to the counter and was telling a employee name Kevin that his order was wrong the employee rudely said "Don't get an attitude with me" which the customer was being really nice about it. The employee continued to be rude to the customer until finally the customer asked to speak to the manager in which she came out I don't remember her name but was just as rude refusing to even acknowledge how her employee was acting. If it wasn't for my wife really wanting KFC I would have walked out and there was several other costumes that witnessed the incident. The employee needs to be fired and the manager needs to go back to management classes. Very disappointed in the experience on that day. Hope this review helps improve the environment if this is an on going thing at this location.

I try coming here every once in a while and the times are awful every single time. It took almost 30 minutes for two chicken combos to come out. I understand it takes upwards of 20 minutes to fry your chicken. But in the middle of the afternoon that should already be prepared and ready to go in fast food style. Having to wait almost a half hour for something you expect to be ready to go in 10 minutes maximum is extremely frustrating. At least let the customers know “hey we do need to prepare that and it’ll be an extra 15 minutes for that order is that ok?” Something to let them know you’ll be stuck in line for 30 minutes. On top of that they always forget the condiments you order and utensils.
The actual food itself is good. Not soggy or ill prepared. I digress, I’d hope this time issue is addressed promptly.

Review for KFC in Crystal River, Florida

I recently visited the KFC in Crystal River, and I have to say, it was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I ordered two chicken sandwiches—one regular and one spicy—both with no pickles. When I placed my order at the window, the person taking it (who I was later informed had 30 years of experience in the restaurant business) made a joke, asking if I wanted extra pickles. I clarified I wanted no pickles, and she brushed it off as “just kidding.”

I left, thinking I’d finally get the food I ordered, but when I opened the sandwiches, not only did they have pickles, but one even had extra pickles. Already annoyed, I went back to have the sandwiches remade. Instead of a quick resolution, I was met with resistance. They even asked me to prove my order with my phone, as if I’d made a mistake, not them. When I asked if they could make my sandwiches fresh and without pickles as I ordered, they told me they “couldn’t remake them” because they were closing soon. Seriously? I only asked for what I ordered.

They said the chicken they currently had was 30-40 minutes old, yet the manager claimed it’s “always made fresh.” I work in food service, and I know “fresh” doesn’t mean 40 minutes sitting under a heat lamp. When I insisted on fresh sandwiches, I was told it would take 30 minutes because they had to “bread and fry it.” I mentioned that boneless chicken typically fries in about eight minutes, and her response was beyond frustrating. She finally offered to “re-fry” the old chicken to make it “fresh.” I know that re-frying chicken doesn’t make it fresh; it dries it out, soaks up more oil, and burns the edges. But apparently, this “manager” didn’t care.

As if that wasn’t enough, they even forgot the mac and cheese I ordered. My friend went back inside to ask for it, and they tried to hand over a cold one. When we requested a fresh, warm one, they refused, claiming they’d already thrown out all the mac and cheese—20 minutes before closing! They were completely unwilling to make things right.

This KFC clearly has no respect for customers or quality standards. The manager was rude and dismissive from start to finish. Food prices keep going up, and service keeps going down. If you’re in Crystal River and craving KFC, do yourself a favor: drive to another location. This place is not worth your time or money

I placed my order online, and it said it would be ready at 6:10 pm. I went inside to pick up my order at 6:10 pm, and they had not started it. They announced that I was there to pick up my order and then started it. There were no other patrons inside, and no other online orders were pending. After the packaged my order, they told me that it would be another 6 minutes to make the chicken tenders. I told them I didn't want cold food or fries while waiting. They said they would keep the food warm. While this did not make me happy, I agreed. However, by 6:30, I was beginning to get impatient. I saw the chicken tenders had been done and placed in the warmer with the other pieces of chicken. Only after I started to get irritated and vocally complained did my chicken fingers mysteriously just come out. Most of my food was less than warm when I came home. I am very disappointed.

I would give zero stars if i could. I had my mom go get me some mac n cheese and a famous bowl because im pregnant and hungry and was craving kfc. Never again. The mac n cheese was completely crusted over, there was maybe 3 bites that weren't completely hard and crusty. Absolutely ridiculous. I tried calling to complain but nobody answered the phone. Having worked in fast food restaurants myself for many years I know this is not how things should be. If the food is old you DO NOT SELL IT and there should ALWAYS be somebody to answer the phone. I am beyond disappointed with my experience and i havent even opened the famous bowl to see what could be wrong with that yet. This was the one meal I was looking forward to and it has ruined my appetite completely.

Horrible service...food tasted old. The lobby was closed and there was nobody in the drive thu. We parked and checked the order. Things were missing...we went back to the window bc the lobby was closed. I told the young girl what was missing and she huffed around as they short of tossed it out the window.

Ordered online to pick up . Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and Mac and cheese and a bucket of chicken and mash potato’s . ordered it at 6:50 pm and got off at work at 7 got their at 7:05 told them I had a order in my name and told me that they had no chicken sandwiches and they were gonna put tenders on . Told me to pull in the spot and wait . Waited 23 mins and on top of that about 35 cars in drive thru were getting all their food . After it was handed to me I went to check my fries and chicken TENDER sandwich their cold not even hot like they been sitting their as the other cars were getting their food . My wife’s chicken was sopose to be extra crispy and gave her chicken with no skin on it . The biscuits were dry and it was a bad experience all around . I wa Sven upset cause I had a lot day at work to just get off and have a crappy dinner . When I called to speak to a manger I kept getting hung up on . ?
