Despite mixed reviews, we stopped by here after kayaking . Our server Christina was amazing and was on top of refilling our drinks and chips/salsa. The food came out quick, tasty, and hot. The portion sizes were big enough for us to take home some leftovers. The street corn was amazing as well! Would definitely recommend!

I feel bad giving a negative review because I try to always help people. When we walked in the floors were sticky. The place had an odd smell I don’t know how to describe. The waitress was a cranky old lady. There is no music or TV. There were only 2 other customers and the place felt dead. No Mexican workers in a Mexican restaurant. Burrito came out oddly fast and I assume it was frozen based off the size and shape. The lady over charged us so we had to speak with the waitress who became annoyed and acted as if we were causing a problem. Left ASAP and went to Taco Bell to upgrade our meal and wash the taste out of our mouth!

Order taken wrong. Charge was double the real amount. Staff stumped. Waited 45 minutes for correction. Asked for fresh food. Got cold food. You would have to be desperate for Mexican take out to come here. Just don't.

This was a pleasant surprise. Stopped in for lunch on Saturday and everything was great. Extensive menu and full bar. Very clean. Fast service and friendly staff.

I am so upset! Normally we have wonderful food and service! I ordered for the first time from grub hub for dinner and not only did we not get an order of food, so my daughter didn’t have dinner but my enchiladas tasted like they were freezer burned and my husbands chicken wings were extremely small and dry and they sure didn’t change the price! I have eaten there for years and several times! Never had an issue, I have tried and tried to call them to get it taken care of and the phone either just rang or was busy. So I gave my daughter my food and figured it out but I just can’t believe that happened
Terrible pricing. Food was good but not worth the cost by any measure.As I say the food was good but not exceptional definitely sad to see it so costly. My daughter likes the place but even she said it was crazy prices. We ordered two steak taco salads and water and it was $36+. I know things have gone up but I eat this meal regularly at many restaurants of equal or BETTER quality and have never seen it this high. Either way long waits with only one other sit in customer and one to go order.

We're new to the area having just relocated from the desert southwest and couldn't wait to find some good Mexican food here in central Florida. We are still waiting because this place ain't it. I'm generally a very upbeat, forgiving person, but this restaurant experience was terrible. The first impression, the salsa tasted and looked like marinara sauce. Chips were stale, not warm, overcooked, and no flavor. Corona beer was cold, good. The sliver of lime had zero juice. Until two hours ago, I'd have said no one can mess up a Taco. I stand corrected. Today, Taco Tuesday, their easiest, flagship weekly special... was... just... bad. My wife ordered hers with no tomatoes, and of course, it arrived laden with tomatoes. But more importantly, there was no *flavor*, nothing. We asked for hotter hot sauce/salsa, which never arrived. Foodservice was slow, the music was irritating, and the bottom line is, we can make our own tacos at home which will turn out much better, be warm, and have FLAVOR! Lesson learned; when your new neighbors tell you NOT to visit a particular restaurant, maybe listen to them. Our search continues...

The service was excellent. The ambiance is nothing great. Decent bar. We didn't find the food great but it satisfies a taste for Mexican food. Not a Mexican to be found so don't expect the true flavors of Mexican. It's quite bland

This place is great! The food and service rock! Plus huge bonus it is family owned so you are putting your hard earned money in the right place! They serve all kinds of food and actually have two restaurants in one building! So if you are in the mood for American fare go right to the Elegant Pelican and if you want to cross the boarder go right! Definitely different but definitely a place you need to visit! This place is great! The food and service rock! Plus huge bonus it is family owned so you are putting your hard earned money in the right place! They serve all kinds of food and actually have two restaurants in one building!
