I love eating here and the food is amazing! However, when I place online orders, I never get what I ordered. My usual order is a original chop chop with finely chopped chicken , and a Cuban chop chop with finely chopped chicken. When I pick up my food and then go back to work to eat my Cuban chop chop doesn’t have lettuce, tomatoes, or beans! The chicken is not finely chopped and the same for the original chop chop. This has happened more than 5 times already and honestly I’m writing this now because it’s just unacceptable for me to spend my hard earned money and not get what I paid for. I hope they can better this issue in the future.
I spoke with Mailyn on the phone when I called the store to let her know the situation and she was very nice and helpful and apologized for the inconvenience. She offered a promotion for the next time I order. At the very least the customer service at chicken kitchen is very good.

Easily the worst chicken kitchen location I have ever been to. The ratio of protein they give is so small and gets smaller each time while the prices seem to only get higher. This is the only location I have ever been to that charges extra for giving skin which belongs on the chicken I’m already paying for as is? They also charge me extra for curry sauce and the curry sauce I was given was spoiled rotten and disgusting. Mind you I had to PAY for this. This place is ran by the greediest money hungry people who do not care about food quality or fair portions. Notice how the responses to reviews are only given to positive reviews all negative reviews are ignored LOL this place is a joke and food inspectors need to be called

A dollar for the chicken skin that used to be free? Really? They throw it out anyway if you don't buy it. How greedy do you have to be? Not only that but the chicken portions are getting noticeably smaller than when the place was brand new. This is how you lose customers.

I dine here quite often. I've eaten at chicken kitchen since the early 90's so I have seen the changes over the years. I've been eating at this specific location on old Cutler road for about 10years. Tonight I bought nothing new. Just my typical deluxe chop, light lettuce, light tomatoes & wife had the same. So as my chicken was being chopped I asked for the skin and was told I need to pay extra for that.🫨 I was confused at first thinking the young lady was joking with me but I was wrong she was dead serious! Since when do we start paying extra for the part of the chicken that comes on the 🐔 chicken already. I always order a small and have food left over. There was barely any food inside that container. I know the use the white cup to measure which is usually leveled off but this time I felt robbed. Are we rationing everything now like God damn this is crazy.

Prices keep going up, portions are getting smaller, and there’s barely any chicken in the meals. To make things worse, they’re now charging for chicken skin—something they literally throw away in front of customers. This place has lost all sense of value and respect for customers. I won’t be coming back. This is how businesses lose loyal customers: plain greed.

I know the owner reads these but they only reply to positive reviews! This is my revised review and prior to today it was 5 star and I’m a level-7 Google reviewer. Reason for the revision: the insult of charging the customers $0.99 for the chicken skin that they typically remove and discard. For years this was free for the asking. Just another slap in the face to the customer by gouging them with petty fees. Will I still go there?…maybe but it will result in me no longer placing a $1.00 tip in the can. Management should know better. A smarter way to get around this cheap practice would have been in incrementally raise your meal prices. Also note the lines for taking your order have become longer as they can’t hold onto well trained staff and phone orders have slowed the overall process. Go to the local shopping center Publix deli…they have a full 3-piece hot lunch for only $8.99!

This is the worst location. The chicken portions are small, the cup was barely full and now they want $.99 extra to add skin? Come on…that’s just greed on the owners part! I’ll go somewhere else in the future.

I’ve been a regular customer, but I’m truly disappointed by the recent changes. I ordered a chicken bowl and was shocked to find I received only half the portion I used to get — and on top of that, I was told I had to pay extra for the skin, something that was always included before.

I find this change insulting and disrespectful to loyal customers. Because of this, I will no longer be eating here. I sincerely hope management reconsiders this unfair policy.

I’m really disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered a large “Make Your Own Chop Chop,” expecting a balanced bowl, but what I received was about 80% rice and barely 20% chicken — if that. When I politely asked if a bit more chicken could be added, I was told it would cost an extra $5. Seriously?

At that point, I was too tired and hungry to argue, so I just paid and left — but honestly, it felt like I was being shortchanged. For the price and the portion advertised, I expected much better. I don’t mind paying for quality, but I do mind feeling like I’m being taken advantage of.

Lets just say forget the food... their service sucks so bad that I would rather take a dump and eat it

They’ve started charging an extra 99 cents just to leave the skin on the chicken—the skin that already comes with the chicken. When asked why, the answer was “inflation.” Seems odd to pay extra for something that’s already part of the dish, even if it’s only 99 cents.

Food and quickness of the meal is subpar, but charging extra for chicken skin? That is a new low. I guess rent is getting too expensive? C‘mon, you can do better than that. The skin is part of the chicken, and I’m already paying for that.
