They keep things fresh by alternating daily specials, but the $6 burrito I grabbed was an absolute knockout for the price. “This is A genuine local Mexican restaurant for true home-cooked meals. Nothing fancy, but very clean and amazing service. The tacos are phenomenal, and the grouper plate was very fresh and tasty. And if this isn’t enough, these are the best margaritas that I have had since Mexico. Just a traditional one is amazing and if you’re up for a little twist, the coconut one is truly delicious . This is not a fancy place by any means, but it does have a great atmosphere where you can get a great quality meal at a very affordable price. Drove 30 minutes to get here and it was definitely worth it. Will do it again.“

“I’m Mexican and I went to this place because of the advertising—Vicente Fernández Jr. himself recommended it. Overall it was good; the dishes are well served, the guacamole is very tasty, as well as the green chilaquiles, and the carne asada that comes with rice. The asada tacos were also very good. However, the tacos al pastor were a huge disappointment—they tasted awful! So if your intention is to eat tacos al pastor, this is NOT the place. The sauces are also quite bad.“

“We live in Ohio but went to Miami for a cruise. We went to the Kendall location one night.....the quesadilla was outstanding! Drinks were amazing and it was the best Tres Leches we had ever had!!! It was so good we went back another night!!! Fingers crossed you open up a location more north. :-)“

“Dining area was half full on new years eve. Not sure what the wait was all about but they were scrambling to get everyone served. We got our meals 10 minutes til close. As a courtesy they brought out more tacos then we ordered. Ordered 6 tacos and they brought out 9. They had me taste test some tacos I've never had before.
Can't say I'm a fan of Tripa tacos just yet.
-Carne tacos were well seasoned and tender.
-Lengua tacos were a little tough but nicely seasoned.
-Al pastor tacos seemed dry. Almost like they had been sitting for a while.
- Barbacoa tacos were well seasoned and tender.
As my first time eating here I'd say my favorite taco was the Carne. The barbacoa a close second.“

“Absolutely wonderful, authentic Mexican food in South Miami. I truly wish I knew the names of the lovely lady who helped us and the chef who cooked our food, because they both deserve a heartfelt thank you. The service was warm, friendly, and genuine from the moment we walked in.

Being there felt like stepping into a real, authentic Mexican restaurant—not one of those so-called franchise places. This is the real deal. I had the burrito (my favorite), and my wife had the taco platter, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care.

The place may be small, but it’s full of heart. It’s located in South Miami, right next to the Food Spot that’s been there for years and near a pizza place as well—so you have great choices—but this Mexican spot truly stands out.

“La Haciendita is primarily a takeout place, but there are 7 or 8 tables inside. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table if you are eating in. I had asada and barbacoa tacos, authentic style and they were very good. I ordered beans and they were nothing special. Other lunches looked pretty good...chicken particularly.“
