1st time in and wasn't disappointed. Anthony and Kiara took great care of my family. Food was well prepared and tasted amazing. Almost too full for ice cream but with so many choices we had to try some. This is our new BBQ place for sure.

This place was the best BBQ restaurant I’ve ever had. Coming from a city with a lot of BBQ options this is a huge compliment. The owner was extremely personable and friendly. Will be coming back!

I Really Really Liked This Creamery Ice Cream ! It's Like Your In A Soda Shop ! Food Is So Good and Not Really Spicy! There are So Many Flavors To GET They Even MAKE WAFFLE CONES ! I WILL BE GOING THERE MANY TIMES ! NOTHING LIKE COLD ICE CREAM ON A HOT DAY ! THEY HAVE NICE HELPFUL PEOPLE ! It Was a FUN DAY For My Daughters Birthday ! Thanks To All Of You ! I'll BE BACK

It took me a while to write this review but I did not forget since the whole experience was excellent! My family and I had lunch here for Mother’s Day after peach picking nearby. It was our third time in Dade City and due to past negative experiences with restaurants here, we expected bad service and food. Thank God we found this restaurant on google and on this special day. The waitress Kiara and waiter Anthony were very professional and cordial throughout the whole time being there. The manager Kathy was extremely sweet and made you feel like home. The food was fantastic, we came from Miami and they kindly gave us all free ice tea refills for the 4 hour drive back. Please try their “Peach Melba” ice cream, you won’t regret it! Thank you so much to everyone. Kathy you and your team are doing a terrific job! Best restaurant in town! ?? Can’t wait to go back!!! ??

My husband and I recently moved from St. Petersburg to Dade city. We found Dade city BBQ driving by one evening and decided to stop for dinner. We have ordered a meal to go at least once a week ever since. So when we had a housewarming party we knew Dade City BBQ was going to be our go to! They were SO easy to work with, provided me with everything I needed to order and as always, the food was out of this world. I ordered food for 40 people and we had plenty! Plus the prices are more than fair for the amount of food supplied! Thank you Dade City BBQ! We will be back when we finish these leftovers!

Ribs was awesome, brisket was kinda hard not sure if it's due to being cut a little thicker most of the time it's thinly sliced, bbq an ice cream perfect combo

Had my 50th. Birthday party on August 24,2024 . The employees are excellent , the food was amazing , and EJ was awesome and very accommodating . It was a fun place have a birthday party or just a nice relaxing place to eat and have ice cream.

From. the moment we drove up and saw the charcoal and firewood we knew we picked the right BBQ. We were surprised to see a huge selection of icecream too. So many flavors. We started our dinner with the Buffalo Nachos which were incredible and could be a dinner in itself.
I ordered the Brisquet (I'd that how you spell it) after watching BBQ wars and learning this is the hardest and best meat to get eight and boy did they get it right. Outstanding. I had collard greens and the Apple cabbage Cole slaw which was super unique and good. My husband got the Sampler plate of all their meats and potatoe salad which was great too. For bread I got Texas Toast and he did the Corn bread which is sweet and I loved it.

Outstanding food and very reasonably priced. We had leftovers 2 times, especially because someone wanted dessert ? which was so great we came back again the next day for ice cream. Although I got the bannana pudding, a must try the server said it sells out daily.

Also another store owner said their loaded baked potatoes were amazing and many locals we talked to while spending the day in Dade city said it was good too.

We looked online for a few lunch options while visiting Dade City for our real estate photo shoot. My son Ben said this place had lots of good reviews and who doesn’t like BBQ? We had The Patriot lunch platter to share. We thought $30 for 2 was pretty good value. The meats were delicious. The brisket needed nothing extra. Juicy and Smokey. The smoked sausage was delicious. The ribs were tasty, but didn’t fall off the bone as much as I liked. The pulled pork and chicken were very moist. We prefer less sweet bbq sauce, but the Carolina and Sweet Heat were a very tasty addition. The corn bread may be the most moist I have ever had. Sometime cornbread can be dry and need to be washed down with your drink. Not here. The mac and cheese made me think of an Alfredo sauce and was yummy. The creamy, cheesy hashbrowns were amazing. The potato salad was good, but after the other sides it felt a little basic. We washed it all down with a couple of sodas. After the meal we had to try some ice cream. I had the purple daze. Raspberry. Chocolate chunks. Yummy. Ben had the mint cookies and cream, which he loved. After tip it was over $60, so that was a bit of a surprise for the meal and dessert. I usually don’t spend that much for two for a casual lunch. Definitely a place to go for a treat. I recommend it.

Sunday at 2pm- not busy. (Order at the counter.) Friendly and knowledgeable staff. There are lots of yummy looking/ sounding desserts, plus ice cream.
For lunch, I ordered half rack of ribs with green beans and bbq beans. Bf ordered The Patriot with mac and cheese, bbq beans, and hash brown casserole. The BBQ meats are absolutely phenomenal. The bbq beans have a bit of a sweet and spicy kick. The mac and cheese was very tasty and cheesy. The Texas toast is delicious. The portions are huge.
I also got the malt ball fudge ice cream in a waffle cone, I wanted to try other cones, but they were out.
The restaurant is clean, as well as the restrooms. There is ample seating inside and plenty of parking outside. The restaurant is well staffed with smiling and pleasant employees. The food is delicious!

When I was over the road, I used to pass this place all the time. After going local & us not living to far away. Came here because my girlfriend has wanted to come for the last few years. So first time here & we will be back. Had to order something to go for my mother because this place is better than Sonny's. With all the food you get here, you will be leaving with leftovers, plus save room for ice cream. They have my favorite, that I thought only Baskin Robin's made "Daiquiri Ice," which I don't very often, so many choices. I believe I'm going to need to try other flavors. So food girlfriend got the half order of Spare ribs, with Green Beans, & BBQ Pit beans. I got the Patroit, which is a sample of every meat with 3 sides. They have a basket of bread that comes with 3 Texas toast & 3 corn bread, a must get, because the bread is to die for. They have a lot of ice cream, and the rule is 3 sample tastes per person. So be prepared for the great food & lots of ice cream!

Parking: Since there is road construction only one way to enter the parking area & you have to travel north after leaving.

The bar b q meat at this place is just awesome, and im kind of a bar b q snob. Love their potato salad and corn bread. The baked beans and coleslaw don't taste bad by any means, they just aren't my cup of tea. To me, beans should start somewhere in the Bushes Baked beans realm and go from there adding flavor. As for the coleslaw, there is nothing better than an old-fashioned southern creamy sweet coleslaw. On the other side of the food spectrum, the ice cream at this place is out of this world good. A real must try if you're in the area.
